Anybody see inside the NFL?

That f'n jerk Collinsworth telling the Jets how to play sundays game.
They hate the Pats with all their soul.
Including that little queen Costas.

I think Costas is dating Ladanian Tomlinson. Ever since he did his in-depth interview of LT, he's treated him like he's some saint of the NFL....not the crybaby he is.

Costas is worse than collinsworth...IMO

I did,to bad I dumped HBO years ago then I could at least threaten them with something tangible.

Chris Collisworth should be suspended for advocating that one team injure another.(I.E. the Jets injuring the Patriots this Sunday) Its totally irresponsable, and reprehensible. And the same could be said off HBO if it continues to allow themselves to be used as a platform for Collinsworth to spew his hate and venom towards the Patriots.

I know it won't do any good, but I wrote in anyway...

"Dear HBO:

Regarding the most recent edition of Inside the NFL...

As I have watched this show decline over the years from a top notch NFL highlights show to a talking heads panel show, I have nonetheless always been comfortable with the journalistic integrity of the show - until last night.

Cris Collinsworth suggesting that one NFL team intentionally try to injure players from another NFL team is just irresponsible and outrageous!

"The team doctor better be on that field five times..."

Are you kidding me?

I would not be surprised if both the Jets and Patriots lodge formal complaints and demand that Collinsworth issue an apology or face a suspension.

Don Imus loses his job for a racial slur and Collinsworth gets to continue to earn and work after advocating injury and the threatening of careers?

Imus was live; Collinsworth was on tape. How could the editors of the show let this segment even make it to the cable?!?!

HBO has a choice to make here - reprimand Collinsworth and demand a public apology or look like complete idiots in the eyes of serious sports and NFL fans.

I also have a choice to make - with all the other premium movie channels available, should I even keep HBO?

I can't stand either of them (Costas has always been a little annoying but I've hated that little puke ever since his interview with Goodell about Spygate earlier this year). I think writing HBO is a good idea but we should probably also write to Reiss/Tomase/Curran and even Kraft, who may be a able to spread to the word more easily. It's one thing to show your bias like Ditka but to advocate injuring players is WAY over the top. This is our chance to get back at that pencilneck p*ssy!

Wow, that's a lot longer than mine! I just told them to GFT  JK

I have HBO (for now) but haven't seen the piece yet. Did Costas really say "Let's hope so" after Collinsworth's rant??

By the way you guys. I posted it earlier but that HBO is on again at 11pm or midnight.it might be on HBO2 but i think it replays again on sat.

Copy of the letter I sent to HBO

I undestand that Chris Collinsworth was only acting the part of Eric Mangini in ITNFL's Play the Coach segment. However the content of his monologue contained sentiments that are both irresponsible and reprehensible. This might have escaped condemnation if the rest of the crew (Marino, Carter and Costas) applied journalistic and sportmanship values in criticizing Collinsworth's pitch. The fact that they cheered and repeated a belligerent refrain only added to the irresponsibilty. Marino and Costas were not acting a part, they were exhibiting their personal opinions on the performances and the content. No-one should ever advocate injuring another player in any sport ESPECIALLY on National TV. HBO has a moral duty to apologize to the sporting world for the conduct of the participants and producers of this sporting travesty.

I look forward to a swift rectification of the matter.

WTF is wrong with the NFL, the media, etc. I'm sick of this shyt.

the media is classless !!

its because Costas learned what "class" is from Tomlinson, but their class is really classless.
