its understood on this board mangini reported the pats for video taping defensive calls when they played in new jersey. but ive never seen that reported anywhere. why would mangini report bellichek for doing something mangini must have done as an assistant here? i don't get it. can someone prove to me mangini did this?

Did you even follow the story when it broke? Don't be an @$$hat.

If you want attention, why don't you hula hoop naked on your front lawn instead of cluttering the board?

and your proof mangini reported pats is ...... ?

The balance of evidence at the time was that this was the Mangini and the Jets; the evidence since then has been corrupted. The Jets say it was the league, but nobody out there believes them. Except maybe you??

And your proof that it wasn't? Come on, let's see it, or are you just here to see your name in lights??

burden is on the accuser. with all the accusers on this board where's proof mangini reported pats is ...... ?

Technically, it wasn't Mangini. GM Mike Tannenbaum was the Jets official who collared the cameraman at halftime and demanded the tape, setting off a chain of events that involved a standoff between Jets and Pats security which was ultimately ended by a league official, who arrived shortly after to take control of the situation. Mangini was in the locker room with his team.

Newton, whats your deal? Why are you defending Manjudas? More interestingly why now????

We went thru all this months ago.

Also, put RAT-GATE aside for a sec. Do you believe any of the other cheap, backstabbing, disloyal, Judas betrayal stories about him? (or do you need proof of those too?)
-- stole laptop
-- recruited coaches on flight back
-- recruited players (tho there is detente among belichick family tree among all other coaches, deals done in backrooms)
-- deion branch tampering

Um, surprise, the Jets (whose HC knows about videotaping casue he did it), turn the pats in.

Wake up and smell the coffee. Or go back to sleep. This debate has been had, and is over.

not defending mangini. look thru my posts and that will be clear. i think he's a phoney BB rip-off who thinks copping some of BBs trick plays are a substitute for real coaching and talent. i called it last year when everyone was saying he was "mangenius" that he'd be out of the league in 2 years. im sticking to it. so there you go.

all im trying to do is get to the truth on spygate.

getting on my case here is another example of too many people drinking the kool-aid about everything about pats = great, beyond criticism, everything about their adversaries = unquestionably bad. its like end of last year when i said maroney isnt a true #1 back. i was called everything from loser to a trolling jets fan. someone even said they know i must be for another team because no pats fans live in newton. as if newton is so far west of boston we must be bills fans or something.

This is not a court of law, it's a message board. For 12 weeks the story has been consistent. Mangini and the Jets shopped BB. No evidence proffered other than rumour and hearsay. None refuted. Until this week. Suddenly it was the League? Give me a break.

the league would not lie for mangini

Considering the Jets' story changes so often, who knows for sure. The original stories was that Mangini knew it was going on and tipped the the security. After Mangini started to get backlash, it was reported it was Tannebaum who reported the Pats to the league. Now there are reports that the league already knew and were waiting for the Pats.

thanks for real response

What's your proof Bill Belichick ordered the Pats taping? It's quite possible that BB new nothing of the taping and accepted responsibility for an underlings actions. So if BB is the Pats head coach and he is responsible for all actions of the Patriots isn't Mangina held to the same standard, or do you give him a pass?

You are kidding right? Do a google search on it if needed but know this.....Mangina is guilty......GUILTY....guilty......

Calling this kind of thing against another coach is a sacrilege in this league IMHO, as they are all doing it.....and like the blue code of the police force.......You don't RAT each other out!!!! You try to One up each other!!!

Mangina is a RAT.......!!!!

I think you are right by the way in regards to Mangina.....I do not think much of him as a coach,........I think he succeeded as a direct result of BB......Look at Charlie Weis....since he left he has been a dismal failure.......Crennel has been equally inept.....however has been slightly more lucky this year against a pretty soft schedule (with the exception of our a## kicking).........Does anyone think McDaniel will be a success right now as a HC? Get ready for it.....the "kid" will get some offers....and his success is a direct result of the Master.....I hope Mangina fails miserably and becomes a hermit somewhere....fat, bloated piece of sh##!!!!
