Patriots Theme Song - "Awake" by Godsmack

i was thinking what's a song from a Boston band that could be Pats theme for the year. "Boston" is too light, Aerosmith is too corporate. Then I hit on the group Godsmack. They're a balls-out heavy metal band that's perfect for our "Evil Empire" image. In particular, I think their song "Awake" is perfect.

I think JayZ's "Say Hello" off American Gangster fits. "Say Hello to the bad guy". That fits for the 07 team.

Plus, Akrobatik did a Patriots rap song, it was pretty solid actually.

I've been listening to that album a lot lately. Good call.

Also worthy of mention: Papoose- Born To Win, Hatebreed- Destroy Everything, for this weekend's game: Lamb of God- Now You've Got Something to Die for. But I think the best fit of all would be Disturbed's "Hell".
