Just been reading the draft rules to satisfy myself on something that's been bothering me: whether you can just pass up on a pick and what happens then.
It seems that if, for example, we had the two pick and didn't use it in the allotted 15 minutes, the number three team than pick and we can go back in anytime afterwards.
So if the Pats wanted to just drift down to low single figures - if they couldn't sort a trade or whatever - to avoid paying the high guaranteed money, they just don't pick until they're ready.
Anyone see BB and SP doing that?
