Has Fisher ever been THIS dirty?(assuming this is true)

Personally I think the whole Titan team is a bunch of dirty cheap shot thugs. After last years season finally, I really hate them.

Plus he's on the Comp Committee with that other rat ba$tard,Foolian

I believe it. Last year he had Bobby Wade end Rodney Harrison's season by crackback blocking him at the knee. He was laughing about it when they carried Rodney off the field. He is the worst coach in the league. I'd rather see him lose his job than anyone else, Mangini is a very very very close second.

Fisher is a dirtbag.
Would'nt surprise me.

Chargers vs. Titans is a battle of the emotionally handicapped vs. the emotionally desperate. Bad things bound to happen.

If you are thinking of Wade's hit on Harrison that took him out for the rest of the season, I agree with you. Haynesworth also stomped on Andre Gurode's helmetless head after a play was over and served a suspension. Fisher took him back after that. Dirty is the word.

Come on. Shawn Merriman is a loud-mouth, me, me, me guy. He gets hurt, so of course he must assume that since he is so incredibly great the other team had a plan that they must injure him.
Go stick another needle in your @$$ Merriman. This time instead of roids, make it something that prevents you from doing childish celebration dances, and openin gyour mouth in front of more than 1 other person,.

I can't say I was suprised by the accusation at all. It is the Titans after all.

Wow, Merriman and Fischer. It's like trying to choose between a giant douche and a turd sandwich.

That's makes no sense whatsoever.

I don't know, AJ. I saw the clips.
Merriman may have a case.
Also considering that he had just made the hit on VY that took him out.
They showed first a play that had the tight end going in motion than at the snap just flattens an unsuspecting Merrimen.
Then they showed the play where was injured and though it was at the bottom of the screen you could see at least 2 titans all over him well after the play was over.

He didn't even make a hit on VY. VY hit HIM.

I don't think Jeff would order an actual hit on a player, but I will say that his reaction to Rodney Harrison's injury last year completely pissed me off. The guy was on the sideline smiling, and laughing as Rodney's on the ground in tremendous pain.

Here's the thing - you say it's hard to choose between the two - well, why do we have to choose at all? Why can't both be true?

1)Yes, Merriman is a conceded, immature, idiotic jerk who purposely laid into vince young while he was not looking and just as he turned towards him, when he could see the ball was gone and could've not hit him. Nobody outside of sandiego respects this punk, and we all know he's a steroid user and anything bad that happens to him won't make anyone here sad.

2)Yes, The titans are a dirty, scumbag team, as is their lowlife coach, and yes they clearly went after merriman on two straight plays in the attempt to hammer him and hopefully hurt him. They not only wanted to send him a message for his hit on young, they wanted him to be harmed for it. that is their way.

so you see, you can hate merriman AND the titans, you don't have to choose only one!

First, you obviously didnt see the play (or game). Young ran into Merriman because he was looking the other way. Merriman was barely coming off a block and actually pulled up as they collided. They are good friends, so Merriman would never try to cheap shot Young. Second, I dont expect you to like Merriman, but if you're gonna call him a "roid user," shouldnt you say something about your precious Harrison? Try not to be such a blatant homer. Also, if you dont want other fans to bring up the "cheating" debacle for the rest of eternity, you might want to let other teams'/players' poor judgements go by the wayside as well. The Pats no longer use cameras and Merriman no longer uses banned substances......move on.

wrong. I did see the play, and your version of it is laughable self-deception.
oh, and your football team is an irrelevant bunch of immature, over-rated babies, who are a total non-factor in this league, other than for the amusement of rival fans.
