Wouldn’t be surprised if this has trouble getting 10 replies by the end of the night. Horrible matchup.

But yeah, if you want a reason to watch it, the Falcons are one of the 4 remaining 3 win teams along with San Fran and it’d be nice to knock them out of that category.

That being said, go Falcons.

This one should be a real barnburner. Even the sports talk hosts were laughing about it all day and saying they should just play highlights from last week's game.

Maybe you should retitle this to " MNF Vick's Sentencing 3 hour discussion" because something tells me that's all they are going to be talking about in the booth tonight.

Not about the game itself, but I just wanted to take this opportunity to say that I am sadened by what has happened to Jaws. He was an enthusiastic expert who always had a juicy nugget or two about each game prior to this position. Now he no longer offers any nuts and bolts insight so his energy comes across as sophomoric.

I just re-watched the 4th QTR of the Ravens game. Really pissed me off when he referred to the blatant, obvious, filmed holding of Watson as an example of an NFL 'tickey-tacky' penalty. WTF? There were beyond the 5 yd line hits and holds all night long. This example occured at an extremely closely watched segment of the game. How could it NOT be called?

Thank Kornhole for this, if you had another "football" guy in the booth then I think they could feed off each other. Now it's just a (supposed) joke fest.

Yeah, I was going to post a final line like, "Why can't ESPN just put Jaws and Vermeil in the booth and be done with it?" but I forgot Vermeil's name so I just ditched it.

So, are there any decent players who will be free agents in the spring, playing in this snoozer?

I missed the beginning.. Is this sold out?

Now, I may be wrong BUT the Falcons need to sell tickets..right?
Would they be willing to trade up for McFadden to put people in the stands? They have what, about a 4-8 pick? They could be a good trading partner.

On 3rd down AND 4th down, the two linesmen coming in to spot the football were about a half a yard to a full yard apart...Both times the spot went in favor of the Falcons...This spotting is obviously a critical part of the game but such an inexact science.

Only just turned this on now. It's 01:54 here and I'm wondering whether to actualy stay up and watch it.

Between the two teams, their win totals equal that of the Chargers, and are one less than the Giants.

What's the point of having a kicker who can't even attempt 50 yard FG's? Jeez... this is the friggin NFL not college football. :bricks:

I considered watching a little of it and then I heard Kornhole's voice and immediately changed the channel.

The way the poor mediots went on and on about how tragic is was for NFL viewers nationwide to have lost the wonder that was Michael Vick, who they are convinced made bad football worth watching via his mere athletic presence - think of how many games the Falcons would have won  - I was surprised ESPN isn't calling for players to wear #7 on their helmets mourning our collective loss for the next 23 months...

I guess we're looking at a real epic game of offence tonight then...

Dave Patten TD....

Why don't we get players like that!!!!

Roddy White just torched that Saints defense for a long TD catch. I liked him in the draft too... lemme see when he was taken. 27th pick in the 2005 draft. Hmmm.
