Yes, this is another thread that is about to devolve into complete nonsense. But as I was perusing on of the other threads, I found something that I thought was entertaining enough to show those of you that don't go near those threads anymore.

Funny thing is, last year when we played the #1 run D boasted by the Vikings, we ran almost twice as much... 15 times, to be exact. For a respectable 85 yards.

I have refrained from these disatrous threads for some time, but I just couldn't help myself with this one. This type of post is disingenuity at its finest.

In the Minny game, NE ran 7 times for 37 yards after the game was completely out of hand. This is the drive breakdown until the game was 31-7.

1) One rush for -8 yards. 6/1 P/R ratio
2) none 3/0
3) 2 (15 yards) 7/2
4) 1 (-2) 4/1
5) 2 (24) 9/2
6) 1(-2) 2/1
7) none 3/0
8) none 6/0
9) 1 (11) 4/1

Totals: 44 passes to 8 runs totalling 38 yards. LoMo, BTW, accounted for 22 of those yards on 4 carries.

I just found it terribly humorous that you not only were completely wrong with your original assertion, but that Maroney was the key runner in the very game that you hold up to prove that he can't run! :bricks:

why not just respond to the 15 other posts on the same subject.

I have been avoiding this board today due to the overabundance of Maroney threads.

Just lay off the guy. I can see us getting all over him if we lost last night, but this is getting rediculous....
