Mike francesa and russo were arguing about the spygate thing. Russo wasnt siding with BB but said he has a big problem with mangini for turning the man who made him a coach. Francesca on the other hand says what should he have done ?

Was a fun a debate. I wish they had an email address where we could fwd the foxsports article which says a jets cameraman was caught last yr since i cant call in a voice my 2 cents right now.

Iam sure we are going to hear it more and more this week but this is a fun debate on the radio.

Question to any Pats fans stumbling across this thread (just curious):

If BB knew that Parcells was taping his signals illegally a few years back, do you think he would have kept quiet about it?

Yes, and the whole reason goes to why Belichick was so pissed about Mangini leaving. Belichick is a historian of the game and respects people who pay their dues. Would Belichick have kept quiet? Yes, but that's not the same as inaction. He wouldn't have thrown a colleague under the bus, and certainly not his mentor. There's a reason why he was a wreck when he quit as coach of the Jets. He was doing something completely against his nature, but at the same time he understood it was the right move to make because his loyalty was being abused to a certain degree.

I'd be curious to know what kind of relationship Parcells and Belichick have now - if they talk, how often, etc.

I don't remember hearing anything about a Jets camera man getting caught viedotaping signals (wonder why;) ) Could some one link that article?

Thanks. Any respect I once had for Eric Mangini has now completely disappeared.

yeah tried that..no dice yet...anyways,tying my best to have these guy see the other side since these guys seem to be more objective even if they are from nyc. Calling into WEEI on the other hand is a shriekfest.

Yes, and he would have found a way to use it against the Jets in the game, somehow, and then a few years later laughed about it with him over a beer.

Yes, he would have kept quiet...

1. BB is not a whiney crybaby like Bill Polian. He does not run to the league crying "Mommy, Mommy!" after every loss.

2. BB kept quiet to the league about Mangini 'illegally' taping the Pats in 2006
