and it doesnt bother me this bothers others, especially in the media and on other teams. i like a league that has different personalities and conflicts. it adds interest that BB has his ways.

It's the 50 point font you're using in your sig that bothers me. Makes it hard to read any thread in which you have a post. Tone it down...please.

besides ...does this really need a new thread?

At least spell the coach's name right. I don't understand how people keep misspelling his name. It's Belichick!

Bell-ah-chuck is just fine if you ask me

I don't care what anyone says, BB has the most entertaining press conferences ever, save perhaps Parcells. I just love how he finds new and special ways of subtly insulting the media.

My fav part this season was after the Miami game, when the guy goes "The score was XX to OO" and BB goes "Yeah, I know, I was at the game."

This is what is called a vanity post ... because it's all about the poster. On any well-moderated site, these types of threads are usually deleted or moved to a dustbin forum.

Of course, if you read carefully, you would notice that 1/3 - 1/2 of the posts on the front page right now fall in that category. The usual modus operandi is to dredge up some article via goggle, post a link, and then proceed to write a vanity. Never mind that the article has been posted 50 times in the last 48 hours.

These type of threads are what makes it nearly impossible to find the needle of real football discussion in the haystack of vanities on this site.

I'm sorry that the moderation here is not living up to your expectations but we are following what he administrator has ask us to do. Even if I don't like the thread myself there is no reason to delete it under the guidelines set for us.

There is always someone who thinks he can do a better job than the ones who are doing it. I bet someone is looking at your post and saying "I could do a better job of being a critic".

looks like we will be garnishing your wages for not doing your job...oh ya, that's right, you dont get paid.

I am quite aware of the rules that you have to live with - and I agree that they are indeed a large part of the problem.

Every time we have a meltdown or a troll siege, there is talk of changing policies, such as time delays before being able to post, start a thread, etc. Things that would help make your life as volunteer mods life easier. I've even seen posts from Ian agreeing that something needs to be changed. But nothing ever happens. Not even a sticky in the main forum to tell posters what the rules are.

The board is truly becoming quite unreadable now, with quality threads often being spammed off the front page in ten minutes or less. It's now wonder that so many of the quality posters don't post much here anymore.

I've been here since the old board, and it is truly sad to see where it is now.
