Per media reports, Broncos punter Todd Sauerbrun was arrested for simple assault on Saturday.

Officially, Sauerbrun was "cited" for assault, and taken to a detox facility.

A cab driver allegedly claims that Sauerbrun hit him in the head after the driver ordered Sauerbrun to get out of the car.

How are yo that drunk the night before a game????

Dnvcer played a 1pm game yesterday which is what 11 am mountain time?? I think they were at home. That is completely irresponcible of Sauerbrun to be out drinking the night before an early game.

Big play? Hardly. We missed the FG. The recovery meant almost nothing.

I don't understand people's continuing bashing of almost every punter we have. Belichick seems to have far fewer problems with them, perhaps because he sees the big picture and has different criteria for a punter. Belichick seems to value net rather than gross punting average. He doesn't like big runbacks. Earlier this year Sauerbraun kicked it right to Devon Hester, who promptly ran it back for a TD.
