Pretty refreshing to hear - especially considering the post-game quotes of guys like Kordell Stewart and Tomlinson in the past.

It's not such a bad thing to compliment your opponent when he deserves it. Normally they do deserve it. It's the bitterness of losing that sometimes stops them. In Ben's case they sort of knew they could treat this game as throw away. And it was in Foxboro. And they may figure, what the hell, it's the Patriots' year anyway. I mean this is, after all, an amazing display of football.

I'd say that we may never see such a thing again, but I don't think that is true. This team is actually built to last.

I've always felt like Big Ben's a huge Brady fan. I've read him say good things about Tom numerous times. Good for him, that's the spirit. Crying and whining won't take you anywhere.

Big Ben is probably the QB I respect the most all-around (outside of TB of course). Good game, the guy's a leader, a champion, a good teammate and a gutsy ballplayer. He may have bonehead moments but he's his own QB and he has a pretty good track record so far. If his QB smarts ever catch up to his physical talents, watch out.

NO doubt... he's a professional in every sense of the word. Even last year, he never used his health as an excuse... the guy will man up and admit when he's been beaten. Also, it doesn't take a 20 year veteran scout to see that Brady is the man...

Yeah. Ben has always been a big Brady fan.

And that's to his credit, because it isn't OBVIOUS that Brady is the one to copy. Ben's physical style is much different (and more reckless) than Tom's. So kudos to Ben for recognizing what really matters even so.

are you kidding? the way i look at it, before this year, whenever the manning vs brady argument came up, as a pats fan i always said "stats smats, look at wins". with that argument, ben is a top qb in this league. you guys really bash him that much?
i do have to admit though, as a steelers-hater, i laughed at his motorcycle misfortunes
