There will be more drama and intrique in this game then any other game this yr.. I think we will not let off the throtle until the clock says 0 .. I think you will see onside kicks, fake punts, going for it on fourth down ... You name it the 2 teams will do anything.. The whole season is based on this idiotic spygate, This game still means something to us by winning we get homefield throughout the playoffs.. Its going to be a blood bath and cant wait to see it, I hope its a 50 point win for us... Manjudas your next...

I just hope Mangina doesn't have his guys playing dirty, trying to be famous as the team that derails the juggernaut.

I don't know what Mangina can say to his team to get them pumped up.

Yeah, it's the Super Bowl for the Jets...but they're not good. It's also payback for the Patriots--a team that, despite Tom Jackson's biggest wish, loves and respects their coach--and they will have their revenge.

I honestly don't know if the Jets will get a chance to 'pull out all the stops' with onsides kicks and things of that ilk. They'll be behind the 8-ball from the get-go (I envision two quick scores by the Patriots) and will be on their heels the entire game. Say, for example, the Jets are down by 4 scores in the middle of the second quarter, and they (somehow) manage to put points on the board. Do you really think they'd attempt an on-sides kick? If it doesn't work then you're looking at the best team in football--a pissed off team at that--with a short field and up by 3 or more scores already.

I think the Jets manage this game in full-on damage control mode. Don't F-up, play hard and smart and hope the Patriots decide to show some mercy in the 4th quarter.

Anyway, I'm not one to feel bad for an opponent and I could care less what anyone says about 'running it up'. I want the Patriots to win by triple digits, I want them to absolutely annihilate the Jets as the NFL has never before seen. It will be very interesting to see what Belichick and McDaniels do if/when the Patriots are up huge in the 4th.

Of course it is their Superbowl, what else do they have to play for. I am sure, with the disdain between these two organizations, this is a MUST win for us and they would like nothing better than to be the one to end our streak.

We are now used to being played this way and I do not feel they have the talent or the will to stay with us, after we manhandle them.

Pats will have incentive like crazy the rest of the way through.

Spartans...."see old friend, I brought more soldiers than you did"

Play the above clip LOUD

the whole .."they will lose 60-0 " talk by the media will be enough to fire any team up.

I can see their players (who should be already pissed off after yesterday's game), getting increasingly annoyed this week after soon-to-be relentless coverage by the media on how we are waiting for a venagance and that we will wipe them out 100-0 blah blah blah...

So, I expect the Jets to play with a cold fury and increased intensity because they know they have nothing to lose but everything to gain if they manage to pull the carpet beneath us. I expect every Jets player and coach this week to praise the Pats sky high and talk about how they hope to to minimize the loss but on Sunday, throw everything at us similar to what the Eagles attempted.

While I think that we should take care of business in a professional manner, I pray that none of the players get hurt in the next three games.

I just brought this up in another thread, but I don't think the Jets will play with the same anger that the Ravens and Eagles played with. I think--and we've already seen it with Rhodes' comments--they play extremely hard but in a fashion that allows them to 'not get beat too bad'. There's a distinct and enormous psychological difference between the two mentalities--one allows you to play aggressive, almost overaggressive, while the other you end up on your heels, hoping you don't give up another big play.

Either way, it'll be interesting.

Jets are purposefully putting up the second mentality that you mention while masking the first one.

Lets all give "" Mangini "" a New england Welcome that he won't ever forget. I'm hoping for SNOW so we can chuck a couple of thousand of the nice hard ones right in his fat mouth. 750 snowballs would be nice as that's one for each thousand dollars Bill was fined because of Mangini '''RATTING OUT BILL """ and these ones right on target on the fat rats head. No rocks in the snowballs !

I'm sure Mangini will have some form of Bodyguards around him this time he enters Gillette.
So aim a little high and stick it to the FAT RAT for all of us.

I believe this game means more to the Patriots than the Jets.

This game will be a lot closer than most seem to think.

42-21 Pats.

Just when that revenge thing starts to regress from my thinking, Brady gets in the face of Mr. Gaureentee. Then, just pummels him with dazzling throws throughout the game. With that in mind, what would they have in store for a coach who caused them so much hassle? I'm going to have to really think hard concerning my score prediction this week, lol.

Get real.
Look at the Jets QB situation. Rthlsbrgr is a top QB with a good RB. How is the Jets O gonna score more than the Squealers did against the Pats?
Ain't. Gonna. Happen.

I don't think there is a core on the JETS team that can muster what Ray and his boys did for a time in Baltimore. That was all ego, which the Raven have in spades. I'm not sure Mangini is JET players favorite person, and as a group minus Penny they don't really have an ego. Heck, in Miami they are in open mutiny against Cameron because they want his ass gone back to college now. Someone said yesterday that these next two teams will arrive with U-hauls in tow because they can't wait for the season to be over and/or they want out of town. I think the Giants need the work more than the rest, although likely neither will help them in week 18 - they are THE worst 9-4 team you've ever seen.

Pittsburgh was the last stop on the knock the undefeated Pats off track express. Next stop, perfection - with a dash of retrubution on the side.

The later you get in the Season, the likelier it is that losing teams will just mail it in.

Th Jets players are probably tired of Mangini, and why should/would they risk injury to defend him?

The Jets players didn't get the Pats/BB fined, Mangini did.
