We talk about it, we know it. We know how good he is. But think about it. We are watching the best qb in the history of the NFL. The Patriots played the best Pass D in the NFL and made them look average.

I mean, really, has it sunk in for everyone? 45 TD's - 5 Picks, I mean I dunno.

Mad props for our QB. Talented, tough and competitive SOB.

I don't know, I mean, he is amazing.....

I agree, and he's taken for granted by media and Pats fans alike. We've come to expect a certain level of play of him and he meets or exceeds those expectations on a game to game basis. He is the best.

Hands down, he's the greatest QB to put on pads. Before it's all said and done, he'll not only have the all the records, he'll have 2 or 3 more trophies.

Thank you Mr and Mrs Brady for this walking piece of greatness.

But most (not all) take him for granted.

I actually think his play in the previous two weeks was even that much more impressive than last night. I tried to start a Brady appreciation thread and it got burried. Fact is, we don't appreciate him as much as we should.

Go to the Colts site and they have about 10 threads on Mannings play last night. On this board you have threads about the poor running game, how bad Seymour is and how off target Brady is!?!?!

Amazing how spoiled we have become. I am going to be a very sad person on the day that Tom Brady is no longer our Field General. The man is awesome and is the best clutch QB in league history!

ok show of hands and be honest with yourselves: Who here said in 01 that Bledsoe could be doing exactly what Brady was doing? I have my hand up I was wrong and am now a true believer

All you have to do is watch some of the other games in the league and realize Brady is just on another level. We are very lucky that he's on our team.

We dont realize what we are witness to.. I think we all should have the Lebron shirts Witness....

It's a shame that he had to wait so long to get the recognition he's getting. He'll set records this year, but I would argue that last year was his greatest season, getting the Patriots to within a First Down of the Superbowl after losing his top receivers.

always thought Montana was the best, but now I say hands down Brady is the best QB to ever play in the NFL. the guy is just so cool under pressure.

Got to agree with a previous poster. the job he did last year with virtually no recievers was awesome. We are now witnessing what he can accomplish with talented recievers

Absolutely agree! Replayed the Steelers game and am in awe of the blitz clinic TB put on. He is so cool and competive. An absolute assassin on the field. He is best ever and hopefully we'll see him perform for years to come.

this morning on WEEI was classic.

Imagine that loser Smith yelling at Brady in the pregame warmups. Wow! Why in the World would his teammates allow that? NO way he gets away with that. Brady ***** slapped him.

The legacy grows...

Yup. Too bad it took so long for the rest of the country to see it.

Tom's in another galaxy compared to the avg NFL QB of today. He's already a living legend and when he's done playing, his likeness should be up there with Boston immortals like Williams, Bird, Orr and Russell.

It's probably easier to forget this thanks to his level of consistency and the fact that his face isn't on 2-3 different commercials per game like another well known NFL QB.

So I had to listen to the most of the game on the radio yesterday, and I missed a few portions, but I just looked at the play-by-play and confirmed what I had suspected: Brady had a stretch--well, a quarter, to be more specific--where he went 20-of-22 for 222 yards. I remember during the GB Thanksgiving day game where the announcers waxed poetic about Brett Favre when he completed something like 15 straight. Brady has stretches like that almost every single game. And when you're averaging almost 9 yards a pass on the season (and over 10 during this stretch), completing almost EVERYTHING, the offense is, quite simply, unstoppable.

I've said it before (and been ridiculed by Pats fans and non-Pats fans alike) but Brady is the best football player ever. No, he doesn't have the freak athleticism of others, he doesn't have blazing speed or an Olympic-level broad jump. But it's everything else: his pocket awareness, his ability to create time while finding an open receiver, his ability to sell the run on play action, and certainly the fact that he hits receivers right where it needs to be, when it needs to be there, with the right amount of zip every time.

Screw the MVP, he has that in the bag. He should now be recognized as more than a great winner on a fantastic team, he is now the one person in all of football that can singlehandedly carry a franchise--as he did last year--while also having the singular ability to demolish opponents with ease (as he's doing this season). When everyone in the stadium knows he's going to throw, time after time, and he still maintains composure in the pocket and finding whoever is open...that makes him the most dangerous player ever.
