After Brady's first pass to Moss where he was jawing with Anthony Smith, it was James Harrison who came up directly behind Brady and basically bodied Brady for jawing at Smith.

Later in the game, Harrison was the one that Mankins drove into the ground and pinned there, jawing at him.. Guess Harrison didn't realize that Mankins saw him hit Brady.

That's right. These guys don't forget anything, and I'd sooner tangle with a road grader than Mankins any day. That's also what kicked off the brief skirmish as well.

Harrison is the Steelers' Bart Scott. Extremely good, and mean LB. But because he's the most talented front seven player he feels he has to act like an assshole.

Casey Hampton is more talented than Harrison. James Farrior is arguably more talented than Harrison, though he's getting old.

I don't see how confronting an opponent who jaws at a teammate --even if the teammate started the fracas -- makes Harrison an *******.

You might actually watch the game next time then. Harrison didn't CONFRONT Brady. Harrison came up and hit Brady in the back. That's a PUS$Y move.

Don't blame James Harrison, blame the 'roids/HGH. That guy is a poster boy for how you can go from nobody to probowler in a year with a little help from the juice. They probably put him on the "Steeler diet", the same one Willie Parker was on.

You mean Campbells Chunky Soup? ;) :D

Believe me, I did watch the game. Every painful, ****ed up minute of it.

What I saw was Harrison come up and intentionally bump into Brady after Brady jawed at Anthony Smith.

You're not accusing us of "cheating," are you?

I was watching an Inside the NFL segment on Harrison last week, and maybe it was just me, but he struck me as an amazingly stupid human being.

...yeah, some Pats fans seriously need to be taught the whole pot/kettle thing. When Rodney got suspended we pretty much permanently lost the right to make those sorts of accusations and take any kind of high ground on that crap.

Don't blame Harrison. Mr. Smith needed all the help he could get whether it was in coverage or trash talking. Unfortunately Harrison lost mad points in my book for that cheap body bump. Let Smith fight his own fight.

I'll say this, respect to Brady for the way he dealt with it: 4 TDs.

I've never had the pleasure of hearing Mr. Harrison opine on TV. He could very well be dumber than dirt. I've only seen him crush ball-carriers and create turnovers, two past times he decided to skip this afternoon at Foxboro.

You don't think a veteran player should stand up for a really young, really dumb teammate when he's in over his head?

Haha yeah, the segment showed him that too. Pretty vicious hitter, though the Pats didn't run and Brady doesn't tend to leave his receivers open for big hits.

The Steeler organization is no stranger to that. Turns out their entire run in the 70s was fueled by steroids. All those SB teams were juiced to their gills.

As was like 75% of the league. Doesn't make it right, but if you ever want the Pats to get the respect they deserve you'd better hope that people don't use your method of forming opinions. That's how public perception works, unfortunately.

I figured for the historically savvy fan, it went without saying that the entire league was juiced up during that era. And no, it doesn't make it right. And no, I don't give two sh!ts about how the public perceives this team, nor should any other fan. That ship has sailed. F-em.

Excellent call. I'm persuaded.
