That interview is really good. Glad to hear Ted sounding so good.

I always liked Teddy, too bad he took too many shots to the head. I'm glad he got help for it though and is doing well. :)

Can you guys tell us any of the stuff he said about this year's Pats (if any)?

Thanks from the Lazy Brigade.

He'd pick Wilfork for defensive MVP with Vrabel a close second.

He said the Pats will go all the way. Said BB is aware of his place in Football history. He seems to be doing real well. He said the wins may be ugly, but championship teams find a way to win. Period.

You know how sometimes you have one vision, story, or statement of how you remember a player. For me, its hearing of the time Ted Johnson broke an opposing players helmet in two.

It makes me happy just to read the words "great Ted Johnson interview." I've been worried about him, glad to hear something good like this.

Yeah. I didn't hear the live interview, he showed up at the station about 6:30this morning. I heard he had been on and checked out their website when I got home. He REALLY sounds good. I'm thrilled, since the last time he was on he really sounded out of it and confused. Attaboy TJ!

For me, it was him going airborne over Pitts' O-line to horse-collar Bettes, who was trying to bounce it outside. This was the year before his first torn bicep, done tackling Bettes as well. They had some great battles.

Thanks for the post. That was nice to hear Ted

TJ, now that was one great ILB!!!

really great to see that he seems to be on the upswing.. was concerned about him for a while, and his distancing himself from the franchise was in no ones best interest.

Nice to hear 'cement head' is doing well...i always loved the guy!

Mental health like physical health requires attention and work. Glad to see Ted is doing better. Best wishes.

My favorite TJ play of all time was in the 96 Super Bowl. He had a monster game but one play stood out.

Green bay was lined up in an I-formation with IIRC Edgar Bennet as the fullback and Dorsey Levens the tail back. TJ shot the gap, lowered his shoulder into Bennet and pushed him backwards into Levens and made the tackle in the backfiled for a 3 or 4 yard loss.

Anyone else remember this play?

This is a great post for us outside the Boston area. Ted sounds really good. I wonder why he doesn't appear on more shows hopefully he will in the future. I really just wanted to bump this once just in case people missed it

He gets in touch with the guys on AAF every so often. If I hear any more, I'll post them also.

off topic, but anyone hear how Andy Katzenmoyer is doing these days?
