Seriously, any and all going to Gillette need to chant this mantra at every remaining home game this season.

I kind of like that "Embrace the Hate" thing,but I think LOVE the Hate would be be better. Its got more of a ying/yang quality to it.

A band I used to associate with back in high school had a song with the bridge: "My strength is in your pain. Pure Hate. Pure Hate." I always thought that was a cool line and painted it on the mud flaps of my M813 in the USMC. :rocker:

Whatever the chant is fine as long as the crowd makes a statement and makes it loudly.

Yelling D-Fense is lame. We did that in high school. Kudos to Patriot fans for ignoring that one.
This is different. We as a fanbase are being attacked and our team is being attacked. Time we start talking back and using national TV to do it.

Hate the love...love the hate!!

I don't know about anyone else, but I really thought a lot of the hatred directed toward the Patriots would dwain as the year rolled along. I guess I'm naive and blinded by my fandom. We have all witnessed great NFL teams being vilely hated. But never in my 40 years of fandom have I witnessed so much hate directed at the fanbase of a professional sports team.

I've spent countless hours defending Patriots honor regarding spygate on enemy websites...and I've been banned from several of them. But I've begun to tire as the regular season marches toward the playoffs and it ocurred to me that in some strange way, I am a reflection of the Patriots players...a little beat up and tired of all the BS.

I have made a decision to not just accept the hate, the criticism and the microscope the hangs above us...but I'm going to let it all re-charge me. Because I now realize that I actually LOVE everything I've been fighting. d%#*!@t! It feels good to be the bad guy. I truly hope that the 45 states outside New England (I can't count CT, sorry!) cheer & scream violently for our Patriots to lose.

Meanwhile, I'm just going to proudly hold my "One finger Salute" high and say Eff You to the rest of the country! And it's gonna feel damn good too!

PatriotReign saw your comments about the one finger salute. Agree completely with your sentiments. Problem with a one finger salute is the TV stations won't put it on the air. Offer up a loud and in your face chant in response to the constant trashing of this team and its' fans and you know they'll comment on it.
I'm completely serious about this.
This is an opportunity for the fans at Gillette to make a statement and to energize this team.
But don't eliminate that one finger salute entirely PatriotReign.
Save it for ManJudas next Sunday!!

the pats have done so much, its time their fans help em out, i say start with the "eff u, eff u" chant, then move on to the

"love the hate, Love the hate"

and after that, well, i think the pats will be energized, and who knows wut else begins ; )
