It was the Steelers....

At about the 4:00 mark they talk about how the last time the Pats had a large streak of wins going it all ended when they played the steelers......err if memory serves me the pats lost to the chargers.

Well, the Steelers did end the Patriots 21 game winning streak, so they are correct, but the Patriots have had other streaks since. Obviously, that 21 game winning streak was their longest though.

Chargers did end a different streak - which was about 21 home game wins in a row.

Steelers. Halloween 2004. Pats got their revenge, though

That 04 AFCCG win at Heinz was my second highest moment as a Patriots fan. Winning at San Diego last year was number one.

Sorry brainfart...i guess the 3 hours a sleep every night is finally catching up with me!

Do brainfarts come out your nose?

Please brain fart in our fantasy league this week :rocker:

It's really, really hilarious that you would post a thread complaining about ESPN not getting the facts straight when you yourself didn't bother to check if you had your facts straight.

I could look it up, but I'd just as soon depend on my crappy memory. Isn't that the game in which Ty Law hurt is foot and was essentially out for the rest of the season?

We lost Law and Branch and Light in that game and we already were without Neal and Dillon and I think Rodney.

It was brutal. Heinz field should be outlawed. People complain about how sloppy Gillette's turf used to be but at least it wasn't a goddamn minefield.

The irony is it's gotten worse...who got the bright idea to roll new sod on top of old before a MNF game during a monsoon.

As a steeler fan, I agree wholeheartedly. it was agreat advantage when we were built for Bettis and the power run game first. And the D was built around the bigger, slower CB's Now we have speedy quick recievers, a fast shifty RB, and a fast and quick secondary. it kills the team's performance every year at this time and gives them a glut of injuries. Bring on the field turf

Better than beating the Rams?

Panthers?

Oakland?

2001 Steelers?

Just curious.
