Bring the blitz, on the steelers. I wished we still had Colvin. I think Thomas will have a good game, he has shown he can blitz. Maybe Seymour wiill have a good day.

The Ravens and Eagles have much better, much bigger and more physical O-lines than the Steelers have.
This game is going to expose the Pitts on a number of levels.
Just watch Brady and Co. come out no huddle go five wide and march right down the field and score a TD on their 1st possession. And then they'll find "who???" and blow him a kiss on their way back to the bench.
I love the Patriots in this game and BIG!!

if you add 5 to the 35 time benroth has been sacked you would get the same amount of touchdowns brady has already thrown this season.

So, if Brady is going to be the league MVP with his 40 touchdowns so far, then the fact that benroth has been sacked 5+35=40 times, that means the patriots defense will play like they are all league MVP against the steelers because the steelers gave up 40 sacks in theory.

So Brady will march on them and the patriots will blitzburgh pittsburgh.

that means we have 2 tom brady, one on offense, and one on defense because your o line sucks.

I love how overconfident most of you guys are! Because that means it's gonna hurt that much worse when you find yourselves wallowing in defeat.

I'm ready to just sit back and watch Ben lead his team to victory, even with the subpar offensive line play.

Bens gonna have a melt down, tell us when was the last time BR played well, and I mean real well in a BIG game? The last Big game I saw him play in he had a passer rating of 43 So until he proves that he can be more than a below avg. qb in a BIG game I'm not buying what yur selling. So tell us when has he played well in a big game and what was the game?

In the '05 playoffs, Ben had the highest post season rating of any quarterback - ever - until his subpar super bowl performance. Look at it this way - he only had a 22 QB rating in the Super Bowl and still finished with a post season QB rating of over 100 for that post season. Which shows how dominant he was in the first three playoff ("BIG") games that post season.

Last year, there was no such thing as a "big game" since the season basically ended before it even began when Ben met the windshield.

This season, on the Monday night "Big game" against the Ravens (who clearly flustered Brady and the Pats), Ben threw 5 first half TD's and finished the game with a perfect rating - in the rain, no less. Then in the game for first place against the Browns, Ben led the Steelers back from a 15 point deficit, with 2 TD passes and a 30 yard TD run.

Ben has played well in plenty of "big games," and he will do so again Sunday.

And I will be sure to return to the forums, and remind everyone that I said so.

BAHAHAHAHA!!!

Not only in he second in the league in # sacks but he's only 16th in passing attempts so the percentage of sacks per passing attempt is even higher than the pure sack number suggests.

Brady has been sacked 16 times in 430 attempts, 3.7%.
Ben has been sacked 35 times in 320 attempts, 10.9%.

so the probability of the steelers giving up 2 sacks next game is higher, combined against a 3-4 defense which is able to disguise the blitz, you might just get 4 sacks.

The game against the browns the steelers won on a field goal.

I'm sure Brady could have thrown five TD passes if Steve McNair handed him the ball at the 25 yard line every time.

That game against the Ravens was anything but impressive. The Steelers did exactly what you're supposed to do when you start six drives with fifty or fewer yards to go.

BAHAHAHAHAH Back at you. Its easy to have a high QB rating when everyone thinks your going to hand off the ball to some great running backs and you end up throwing . And up until this year thats what was happening. I think BR is now a top five QB and have said so before. But I want to see him carry the team by passing the ball in a real pressure game, and the game against the Ravens can't be called a big game imo Last Monday night WAS the Ravens SB trying to knock off an undefeated team, I think they were probably playing with a lot more emotion than earlier in the season. Just look at their record. They haven't been playing football at the level they did on Monday if they did they would be in playoff contention.

Point of order sir!

Brady has 41 TD passes.

Losses to Jesters, Cardinals, and pathetic Broncos. Barely squeaked by winless Doofins

35 sacks of Rodentburger already

Case closed.

Let's see, Pats haven't lost a game all year, at home playing a team that is awful on the road. That is overconfident?

It hurts to lose. Didn't you feel awful when you lost those three games.

I'm sure if we had lost a game, we would feel bad too.

BAHAHAHAHA!!!

If you were a real man, you'd promise do so no matter what the outcome. We'll look forward to your return, win or lose.

Do you realize that 300 trolls have been here, promising to come back and laugh at us after their team won, but never had the cajones to come and take their medicine?

I will be here to remind everyone that I guaranteed that Big Ben would have a stellar effort in this big game. Ben is gonna surprise some people Sunday, though he will not surprise those of us that already know what he's capable of.

And as far as the sacks issue goes, there is no question that Ben gets sacked at a higher rate than Tom. But the bottom line is that The Pats' O-line, as a unit, is much better at pass protection than the Steeler line. So of course that's going to be the case.

It wouldn't surprise me if Ben gets sacked 5 or 6 times in this game. Nor would it surprise me if he also breaks out of 5 or 6 other sacks.

I don't think the Pats quite yet understand just what it takes to bring this big horse down. He will fling Seymour and Vrabel aside like small children. When he runs, he will not slide. He will lower the shoulder, or dive headfirst. And he will create time to find the open man.

Ben will apply the dagger.

Just watch...

yeah...the Jets really looked scared of that "dagger"...you know...the 3-9 season's been over since September Jets? The same squad the beat your pathetic Squeal Meatcurtains up and down the field all day long a few Sundays ago?

or do you have adolescent Alzheimer's...?

Meh, I came back and took it like a man. Of course I wouldn't have laughed if SD had won but that's just me.
