Hey guy, I'm watchin Replay here, and I remember the rare 1st and 1 that we had. And we just ran Maroney. We had it at the BAL 3, I'm just wondering if you guys were the coach and you had that situation would you perhaps take at least 1 and perhaps 2 shots at the end zone passing? It'd basically be first and goal with like 8 possible (and 5 realistic) downs to try to score.

I'm not second guessing, I'm just wondering what you guys would do.

Heath Evans.

Fake punt.

Could I get an answer from someone who isn't ******ed?

Didn't we a score a touchdown on that drive?
I think the OC would consider the tendencies of the Raven defense as well as the Patriots personnel before making that call.
But sometimes you CAN overthink it. I mean it's 1st and 1. It's not that hard to convert.

Personally, I was thinking the same thing: at least 2 free shots at the end zone.

With out question.
Try to get the ball in the END ZONE.
Why would you want to play games like that?
You'll piss off the karma Gods.
No, you score.

I was just joking around. I apologize for offending you, but that was the last thing I meant to do.

By the way, I would hope that someone with a picture of the good doctor as their avatar would have some, ahem, grit.

We did not score a TD on that drive. We converted the first down and then Watson dropped a couple and we settled for three. Huge implications from that and I, too, was surprised we didn't use that 1st and 1 to better advantage.

Your assessment is correct. They basically had a few free downs which could have helped overcome, for example, a dropped ball by the starting TE.

I would've thrown on 1st. If we got the 1st, yay.

If we didn't get the 1st, run it twice with Evans.

I would at least try and pound it in with Heath Evans, as wistah said. I would not count on those extra downs, especially against a goal line defense. All those bodies means more mayhem and a chance of a fumble.

Hate is just misplaced love,NSPF.

someone told me that many years ago and I still do know what it means.
