Worst fans: Colts or Squeelers?

I would have to say the squeelers. They are as bad as the Bronco fans who never lost any game in their minds.
Actually some Colt fans seem ok.

I'm sure many Colts fans are okay. They are too classy to invade another teams fan site. The same is true of most Steeler fans.

But if your question is which is worse, the Colts or Steeler fans who post here, it is the Colts fans, far and away. Steeler fans come around when their team is about to play the Patriots, which is understandable. Fans of lots of teams do that.

Colts fans who post here seem to have nowhere else to go. They are here all-year round, yapping and whining like recently-castrated chihuahuas. Yippity yap, yippity yip.

For those who were members here back in 2002, they are like the Raider and Jets fans. Remember RS1918, Ibleedgreen and the rest?

Eagle fans, I know they aren't on your list but they should be.

Off topic a little bit, my Productions/Logistics prof. is a steeler fan and he and I go back and forth every class about the Pats/steelers. In an effort to gain some fan support, he told everyone that he would give us extra credit on our final exam if the steelers beat the Pats. My reply, "If you are going to offer us extra credit, you should at least give us a chance." We continued to go back and forth a little, I must say, it was a fun class.

What is it today with calling people idiots for holding a differing opinion? Is it said out of ignorance or an attempt to bolsters one's own image?

Just for the record, there is nothing wrong with making a generalization based on observation. It is quite possible to make accurate GROUP generalizaitons (British in general are more formal than Latinos, Asians in general are more polite than French, etc).

The problem is when you take group characteristics and try to them apply the group characteristic to individuals.

For instance, fourth graders are generally smarter than second graders. That is a safe statement. But to say JamesHarrisonEatsBabies is smarter than any given second grader would be wrong.

Every team has bad fans, including us. Some have more fanatical and whiny fans. In this category I'd include the Eagles, Chargers, Colts, Steelers & Cowboys supporters-in other words, the wannabees.

For long-suffering, loyal back-runners, I'd rate the Browns and Bills fans at the top.

I don't think the worse fans belong to any one team. The worse fans are band wagoneers (such as yourself). Folks like the ones I saw crying all night Monday night here, spewing negativety all over the place. The type that think numbers explain everything. They talk, talk , talk, but say nothing at all.
