"Don't forget the Colts"

"You like the way Randy Moss turned himself into a non-factor in crunch time?"

Amazing, just amazing! Frigging media....

If anyone thinks there is some team out there that is a bigger threat than the Colts, then they don't know too much about football. Even without Freeney and Harrison, they're still much more dangerous that the Cowboys or anyone else. They're the only team that knows what it takes to beat the Patriots in the playoffs.

no one is denying it. its just the media keeps reminding us not to forget the colts when no one is.

A lot of people on this board were predicting a Jacksonville win this past weekend. Others are predicting a battle with Baltimore this upcoming weekend. And the consensus througout the nation is that Dallas is the number 2 team. I think Indy is flying under the radar a little bit, as silly as that sounds.

Anyone who doesn't think Indy is the clear #2 in the NFL is an idiot. Sports Illustrated only needs to remind the country that the Colts are good because Sports Illustrated forgot in the first place. Now, by playing the "don't forget them!" card, the idiots and jackasses that make up most of the sport fan public won't remember that it's them that did the forgetting in the first place.

the colts suck.

Sucks when someone writes an article and not suck off the Patsies* at the same time.

you realize thzat 99% of the time, the media is on the colts and paytons we we right?

The Colts are still the Champ.

And in order to be the Champ, you gotta beat the Champ when it counts.

Colts are still #1 until they lose when it matters, IMO.

That's just dumb. Shouldn't let bitterness make you say stupid stuff man.

What am I bitter about? The colts havent done anything special this year, in fact, Im willing to bet that payton pulls a payton in the first round of the playoffs and isnt even a factor when it comes to the afccg.

Great qbs through 5 picks in 12 games

average qb's have 5 picks in a single game.

And as far as the Colts not doing anything special this year, didn't they win the SB? Or am I mistaken?

that was last season. I just hope brady wins so he can catch up to the number of rings payton has.

oh wait?

Without Freeney coming off the edge, I think the colts won't be ble to get the same kind of pressure. Patriots will post points much easier next time.

here we go again :)

media forgets and then reminds us not to forget :)

Hey, I didn't forget the Colts. If they are anywhere near healthy during the playoffs (missing Freeney was evident v. Jax, tho), they are head and shoulders above the rest of the league save for the Pats.

Even now with their injuries, I still consider it, us...Colts.....................................................................and them.

The only important thing to remember here is the last game the Pats played they were victimized by the corruption of Polian and that ref crew that called more penalties on the Patriots than at any time in Patriot HISTORY, by the end of the 3rd quarter!!! And then Polian's presser on Monday where he said the game wasa reffed fairly except for TWO CALLS AGAINST THE COLTS!! And they STILL LOST!

everyone knows now who the "unnamed Midewestern GM source" is, where the Mangini fiasco had its genesis, where Charlie Casserly was getting his "inside" scoops from...it's all Polian and he's FIZZUCKED big time now because NONE of this piped in sound and corrupt refs will happen at the Razor.

A whole herd of mongoloidal Bart Jacka$$es can bray and show their one green tooth all they want...if and when the Colts make it to Foxboro this season they WILL get DESTROYED.

ESPN's power rankings currently have the Colts at #3 behind the Cowboys. Prisco has the Colts at #3. Schrager has the Cowboys at #2. On Yahoo!, Cole and Robinson both have the Cowboys ahead of the Colts. Zimmerman has the Cowboys ahead of the Colts. Peter King and Las Vegas Sports Consultants have the Colts at #2 and the Cowboys at #3.

The pundits actually have a general trend of going

Patriots
Cowboys
Colts
Packers

There's definitely not any kind of consensus of the Colts being #2.

Actually, I think the cowboys pose a bigger threat.
