I'm going to the Patriots vs. Jets game on Dec 16th. need advice on what time to leave from Raynham.

If I were to leave at 10:30am, what problems would we have if we left that late?

Thanks for your help!

Re: Need advice from season ticket holders

Gates to lots open 4 hours prior to game, so they'll be opening at 9. We'll leave our house 8:15 the latest. We have been parking in p8 for every game. If you leave at 10:30, you'll prolly get there just in time for the game. If you plan on tailgating, leave earlier. We tailgate before and after, nothing huge but it's better than sittin in a line of traffic in the lots for an hour or more.

Have a great time.

We're in 304, where are you?

Thank you for your advice.

I have 4 tickets. 2 are in section 225 and 2 are in section 236. I think tailgating before and after is a good idea.

Again, if tailgating, you need to arrive at the traffic backup on Route 1 before the time you had planned to leave.

I'd estimate it'll take you about an hour to get to the parking lot. Figure another 20 minutes or so to walk to the stadium (depending on where you park). Another 20 minutes or so to get settled in and to your seats. So yeah, you can probably do it, but it leaves virtually no time for tailgating.

For 1PM games, I usually leave somewhere around 8AM. I usually avoid most of the traffic plus it gives me plenty of time to eat and fill my beer tank.

always the earlier you leave, the better......and afterwords, plan on time tailgating...for an hour or so..

I'm not sure if it's due to all the construction, heightened interest or other factors but but it seems that this year people are getting to the lots earlier. I have some friends who came up from Philly and wanted to start tailgating at 3PM for an 8:30 game! We arrived at our usual lot at 3:30 and though it wasn't full, there were a good number already firing up their grills!

LOL

That's the way it is done in Philly. I lived there for 12-years. We used to park in the lots before the attendants even got there. 6am for an afternoon playoff game. Good times.

We also leave from Raynham and are packed up and ready to go 60-75 minutes before the gates open and usually have an easy ride down 495 and up Route 1. Bear in mind that you mentioned you had two tickets in Section 225, this is a family section and you will not be able to have alcohol at your seat.

So it appears that everyone is telling me that leaving at 10-10:30 will get me there by game time with little room to spare with 10:30 probably pushing it.

I'm going with my brother & 2 nephews (ages 10 & 14) and my brother is hosting his annual Christmas party the night before. I don't think he wants to get up early the next day!

So I'll have to work on him.;)

Thanks everyone!
