Cool. Literally and figuratively.

I'd be interested in hearing more about your thoughts and fan reactions during those final moments with the time out, penalties etc... keeping the drive alive with just about everything except the Tuck rule coming out.

It's tough to know what's happening at the games sometimes and I'd love to hear about Raven fan reactions.

I still think its funny how so many Ravens fans are complaining about the Refs being against them - trying to "hurt" the Ravens by granting them a time out that they themselves asked for!

Apparently they're deluding themselves that there wasn't obscene holding on the last hail mary pass either as that would get in the way with the theories that the refs wanted the Pats to win.

Most of all I'd be interested in any assessment as to whether the cold and wind was affecting passes - noting you were not on the field, nor are you a QB or WR.

Seems to me that the hard hits put on by the Ravens had more impact in that WRs were looking over their shoulders and dropping passes by the dozen, and that the Defense played a subpar game, allowing a team that shouldn't have scored more than a dozen points have the lead going into the final seconds.

Well, that guy whose picture I posted....Belligerent Raven fan was chanting "Cheaters! Cheaters! Cheaters!" during that final, ridiculous drive where I was literally hanging all over the Pats fan next to me whom I had never seen before in my life. And he was the nice guy. Mostly there was disbelief and screaming about the refs, although the Ravens fan in back of me did inform me he was actually a Cowboy fan. Um, okay. On the way out to the car some old guy and his wife, who looked more like they should be at church than a football game, were pretty nasty, informing us we actually sucked, were lucky, blah, blah, blah. THey were not teasing about it, either, they were really not nice. My dad started trash talking them, though, which was 10 kinds of awesome.

I had a moment as well, where emotion and irritation overcame me. That was just before the half, when Brady threw the pick. The Ravens fans went nuts, until, of course the fumble. Then they went dead quiet....and I seized that moment to scream "SUCK IT!" at the top of my lungs.

As for the wind, I didn't notice it as all except sporadically, and I have to say I'm not sure how much of an effect it had. My guess is some, but not much. THe receivers really had the dropsies, it was so discouraging to see. I still can't believe Moss dropped that TD pass....just cannot believe it.

THe lowest moment of the game was the double sack. The Pats fans in our section just looked ill. ANd on that final drive...man, I am telling you when the TD was scored we were jumping up and down and hugging and screaming and it was way better than watching it on TV.

I'll post more pics in a bit....gotta go eat.

I've never heard an n-bomb at an NFL game, but I heard numerous last night. "Brady's a f**, Moss is a n*****" it was quite appalling. We parked in the lot outside the stadium under the overpasses, and they were fairly rowdy after the game, breaking glass, throwing things, and being generally unruly.

You sure that wasn't the Ravens defense that you saw?

Finishing the first drive....I was SO sure we were going to score here.

My dad, me and the guy with the Bruschi jersey who I've never met before, but bonded with during the game. pats fans are so cool....he gave me some of those hand warmer packets he had because my picture taking was freezing my hands off....even my gloves didn't help. This was after the game...that's why we look so punch drunk.

A few more final impressions of the game....I thought that Maroney started off the game pretty poorly and Faulk suddenly provided a spark...then suddenly it was as if Maroney came alive when he caught a couple passes and ran well after the catch. In fact, on one I thought he was Stallworth.

BB coaches the D a lot more than I thought....usually on TV you get the roaming the sideline shots, but in person you can see how often he coaches.

Welker is a small guy....at least standing next to Brady.

My brother had seats where he got a good view of the end of the game. He came away really impressed with how calm Brady was at the end. In fact, he could not stop talking about it. Like "ice".

that is classic... a moment in time you'll still remember 50 years from now!
