Hi Folks, a LM fan here. Some questions for the professional forum guys/gals.

LM is a good tough athlete/running back.
He has not played much this year, had injury problems last year.
I watch a great deal of NFL football and ALL the Pats.
Not a "student" of the game, played freshman HS football, broke a rib, never returned.
Gotta a question for the "Pro's" on this forum.
Sometimes when LM runs plays, seems to me he has that "stutter step" behind the line and can not seem to "blast" through the line like some of his colleagues.
He just doesn't seem to be as "quick" as some of his colleagues.
I think he has the skills of his colleagues..is this a "coaching" issue".
Your thought please.
Regards, Bill D.

No pro here, but i feel that Lomo is trying tohard to make a big play, rather than just attacking the hole full bore he dances a little. I would be ok if he makes his decisions a little faster. either go for the hole or hit the outside don't dance. my 2 cents

Countless LOMO threads...but i still need to pile on
I know many ppl were impressed w him last night - i was too, once he gets into space
My impression is that he does not make the first guy miss. ever. unless he is really moving at high speed already.
He is no Joseph Addai, sadly.
But he doesnt suck.

As for coaching, i dont know. i thought he was MORE elusive last year. so maybe the coaching aint helpin....:bricks:

Well Bill, I think that's the question all of us have.
Hope that helps.

Seriously though, count me in the "Fairly Concerned" camp.

notice last night that lm was following his blockers, instead of looking for a hole to pass his blockers? that is terrible running right there. he kept running into the back of an o lineman and going down. he refused to hit a hole, like he was scared of it.

What if his lineman was a lead blocker?

he did it constantly. not once did he pass his blocker

yes you guys are right, jeeze, there's not a lineman in front of him that can run fast enough

Maroney is fine! Just play him more BB. I think BB will try to get the ball in his hands more because he can make plays. He will be a huge playmaker down the stretch.
