I was watching the game on ESPN last night, clinging to hope during the final drive when suddenly the picture went black for about 10 seconds.
Did anyone else lose the game for a moment?
I thought I was watching the Sopranos finaly again :D

Re: Dis anyone else lose the game last night?

I went to the strip club for the final quarter and it blacked out there. I thought it was just at the club. I was pizzed. It came back on and Brady was just getting up. The best part about watching the final drive at the club was the game was on MUTE so I didn't have to listen to the ESPN guys.:D

Yes. It went out in NY just before one of the 4th down plays!

Yes it was with 14 seconds to go, and Comcast did a (weekly ?) Emergency Broadcast System test, which has become just a blank screen. I was in Southern NH, and the screen went blank and the box said EAS. Comcast had a 'Heidi moment' . I have no idea if it was something they did manually, or if it was programmed in for that time and day.

I didn't lose it. I'm on DirecTV in Maine.

Lost it. Charlotte, NC

I was watching the game with the sound off and my hands over my eyes :D

Give me the blow outs. I can't take these close games

nothing where I was. No "black out."

I don't know that I could watch a Patriots game at a strip club.

Patriots game + Strip club? Does life get any better?

Lost it too for a few moments.

Cox Cable, Newport News, VA

Also, there was this weird broadcasting blip where the entire game was shrunk down and crammed into a ruebics cube, making it practically unviewable, while lame offseason baseball free agency news was broadcast in a parallel cube. I don't know what kind of cable glitch can cause something THAT bizarre, but I hope Cox looks into that. Who give a rat's ass about baseball news in the middle of a football play?

ESPN should sue them for phucking with their football broadcast. ;)

You mean other than the Ravens, right? :D

We had the picture freeze a couple of times during the game and one of the overhead cameras could not handle the lines on the field-they looked like dotted lines and busier than Moss's suit on that one camera.

Re: Dis anyone else lose the game last night?

Wow, sorry, that just doesn't work for me. I love steak and I love ice cream, but I don't want them at the same time.

I dunno, nothing better than watching the game and then celebrating the win with beautiful women on my lap. It beats sitting home and watching Mercury Morris's ugly mug on the postgame show.:D

My picture didn't go black, but white. I think it was for about 5-10 seconds, then it was fine. It was the same time as the other people here.

For those wondering I have Dish Net

No, its ESPN that does that. For some odd reason they put in a headline sports news update called 30/30, in the middle of a game. ESPN truly sucks on so many levels.
