Why are Ray Lewis, Willis McGahee, and Ed Reed are considered Sean Taylor's (Miami) family? Do they realized that Sean had "family" on the other team too? Were Vince Wilfork and Brandon Meriweather disowned from the Miami family? Ray Lewis did not even played with Taylor.

I know... Who cares? I am sorry but the three helmet family chant bugged me. I will go back to lurking now.

The irony of Ray Ray crying over a random murder was not lost on many of us. Don't worry about it.

I think the TV showed Wilfork once, at the very beginning, as another player who went to UM. I don'think they ever mentioned Merriweather. YOu would have thought Taylor was a former Raven the way Lewis was playing it up...I am sure it is only a coincidence that there just happened to be a TV camera in Ray's face whenever he was getting emotional about Taylor.

Tirico called Lewis "The Godfather" of the Miami fraternity.

Twice.

Before the game started.

yeah it was a little much when the tears were coming out as the camera zoomed into ray's face more.

did he even know sean taylor?

how does he think the real family of the guy that he killed felt?

that scumbag shouldn't be able to say a godamn word about anything

That's guys. Plural.

He was crying because they left the girlfriend alive to be a potential witness.

Ray Lewis is an emotionally unbalanced lunatic. He'll use anything to try to get hyped up. I think the Ravens should give him a lifetime contract because when he's done playing I fear for society.

I was kind of annoying that they kept focusing on those 3 while Vince only got an "honorable mention." I think everyone just kind of forgets about Meriweather because he's invisible.

I think they all met up at midfield at the end of the game. I saw Wilfork and Meriweather then I saw McGahee and Reed come into the picture walking right at them.

Ray is so humble. He made sure only two cameras were on them when they did that phoney "prayer" for Taylor.

Ray Lewis doesn't care about Taylor or any other Punk U alumn. Ray Lewis cares about Ray Lewis. The man is an attention whore. Pure and simple. As for the "GOAT", try again another time. Lewis used to be a good player. U-S-E-D used to be - hi Terry!

Yeah Ray really looked like he was trying to force out some tears once he knew the camera was right there.

I didn't buy it for a second.

It's pure Ray-Ray to hijack any loose-lying emotions and whip them into a frenzy that he can harness to do his bidding. In a way it's brilliant, and in another way it's sick. I think the man has a mental problem. He understands the power of emotions but he also sees himself as their master - almost like a slave-driver. He has stepped over the line that separates motivator from manipulator.

By the way, when's the last time anything Ray Lewis did was actually relevant?

When he knocked two interceptions out of Ed Reed's hands in the divisional round of last year's playoffs. Of course, that was relevant in a bad way, but it was still relevant!

at the end Reed-Meriweather-Wilfork were all together

Ray was with his teammates that are ex-Hurricanes when he gave a speech. u dont do that pregame stuff with opposing teams..u do it after game

They are considered family because some of them grew up together, some have known each other for a very long time and maybe they were best friends. Nothing wrong

i saw few ex Hurricanes post game talking like i said

forcing tears? you guys are pathetic. be ashamed of yourselves. all u do is take shots @ Lewis..even at the worst times. Those werent being forced..u want him to start screaming in tears? I've seen my father cry once and it looked similar. not everyone cries like a ***** like you.

You people should be ashamed of yourselves. This thread is utterly disgusting. Everyone makes mistakes in their lives, and just because they did in no way means they can't have close friends. Lewis has always been a religious and emotional person. These guys are extremely close to their alma mater's and take great pride in them.
It takes a big man to even play the next game after a friend of yours is murdered. I honestly can't believe you people would be critical of the way someone dealt with the death of a friend. This thread should be closed and you have all lost all your credibility when it comes to talking about anything.
