What a disgrace. Getting two personal fouls on ONE play, which I thought meant automatic ejection from the game. Then on top of that, going after the referee in that manner. He needs to be suspended.

I agree. I think that Scott should have been tossed. This guy better be fined for going after the ref. If not there is something wrong will the Commish.

You got to give him one thing. He showed a lot more emotion than anyone on our defense.

He totally went Artest out there. He is a talented All Pro player though...I'd take him on our team at the right price.

His meltdown kept me warm on a cold night :)

This from NFL.com:

PENALTY on BAL-57-B.Scott, Unsportsmanlike Conduct, 15 yards, enforced between downs. The Replay Assistant challenged the pass completion ruling, and the play was Upheld.
3-S.Gostkowski extra point is GOOD, Center-66-L.Paxton, Holder-6-C.Hanson. PENALTY on BAL-20-E.Reed, Defensive Offside, 5 yards, enforced between downs.
NE 27 BLT 24 Plays: 13 Possession: 2:46

I saw the replay of him throwing the flag  , but I didn't catch the first one. Did he argue with the ref, I assume? Anyone have the official details?

And on a side note, imagine getting not one, but TWO 15-yarders at that point of the game. Unbelievable.

Heard it was a late hit.

Scott had to be restrained by teammates. He looked like he wanted to kill the ref.

I hope St. Dungy condemns this disgraceful behaviour. Think of the children.

Those are the kinds of decisions you make when you are coached by a guy who blows kisses at the opposing defense so he can make the opening montage of Sportscenter.

That was an awesome temper tantrum. I wonder who changed his diaper?

I was disappointed in one thing though. I wish BB called for the onsides kick when Ghost kicked off from the 35. If we recovered then a bunch of diapers needed changing.

Seriously though...he fired the flag towards the first row...that could seriously injure someone (see Brown, Orlando). He's incredibly lucky.

Not many people are going to give him a hard time. They'll just say his emotions got the better of him. Imagine if Mike Vrabel did that. He wouldn't hear the end of it. He'd probably get a huge fine. Its ridiculous.

Grow up, Bart Scott. You freaking moron. I think there have been numerous times in the past few seasons when the Pats players should have went over and knocked out a ref but they didn't try to go after the ref. Bart Scott had a major temper tantrum.

That's true. The first thing I thought of was Scott hitting someone in the eye and blinding them like the Brown situation.

That was awesome. Never seen that before. NFLs first ever "throwing flag into the crowd" penalty.

I was being serious, just decided to take a little dig at St. Dungy there. But yes, Scott deserves a heavy fine and a one game suspension. In no other profession can one act that outrageous and even go after a person with a position of authority without being forced to take a "vacation".

Dayyyyy-um, that tantrum put DeAngelo Hall to shame. what did Hall get? $100,000 team penalty? Ole' Bart can expect that, and possibly a suspension.
