I have an idea for a sticky thread. It has to do with the officiating of Colts games.

I have asked several people to call me, pm, whatever whenever they see the Colts penalized and the call obviously favors the other team and it was a horrible call.

It NEVER happens.

I think it would be nice to have a thread where we could add horrible calls, no calls, as well as times the colts are penalized and they shouldn't be, so we can have a better understanding of all this crap.

Does anyone have any ideas or want to add to this?

Why have a sticky for another team? Too many stickies get in the way of regular posts anyway. So why add one for another team that is not an up coming opponent?

Why add one?

For the reasons i just listed above.

I think this is a great idea. Indeed, it's such a great idea I wonder why I didn't have it myself.

Oh, wait, I did :D:

OK. I have now switched the TV off. Watching the Colts' opponents getting scr*wed by the referees is not my idea of Sunday afternoon entertainment. The Mathis "pass interference" and the "incomplete pass" were just dreadful calls.

Perhaps someone could start a thread on "dreadful calls in favour of Indianapolis this season". I can remember a "roughing the kicker" when the punter trod on a guy lying on the ground, for example.

You know what they say, though: you can get anything done, provided you don't mind who gets the credit. I think that your idea is a great one, Keegs -- go for it! :rocker:

Have it in the Visiting Locker Room. It isn't only New England that has been the victim of atrocious refereeing when they have played the Colts.

to be honest.... i think if you created the thread and asked for it to be stickied, i think it would have a hell of a better chance of actually working and sticking around.

Re: My Idea for a Sticky... Mods?

Yes....

and I'm mainly interested in bad calls/no-calls that go AGAINST the Colts.

Re: My Idea for a Sticky... Mods?

I just seems a bit over the top. Who cares about what happens with the Colts on this forum? It is moving past obsession a bit.

Re: My Idea for a Sticky... Mods?

it never happens so pretend there's already a sticky up there.

Re: My Idea for a Sticky... Mods?

Great idea ,Keegs...but flawed. The reason why is, the horde of Colt trolls will infest and overrun the thread with a barrage of Bart Jacka$$isms and Indy Colt misspelling adventures to the point that it becomes unreadable.

But give it a shot anyway...maybe the mods will police it

it would be a far more organized way to do what we are already doing now.

You know it will get overrun with Colts fan posting calls that go against the Colts. But if you really want it, knock yourself out.
