Is it me, or is Polian back to his sound games again?

I'm watching the Indy Jacks game and I swear that crowd noise sounds fake as heck.
It sounded like the sound had some distortion in it.
Could Napolian be back to his old tricks again?

No. How exactly does it sound fake?

my turn:) ..

All the fans are sitting, yet it sounds like it's a 3rd down every play.

I was thinking the same thing about the sound. Even the commentators have mentioned it a few times as well as doing a bit on how the sound is almost silent when the Colts are on O and then when Jax are on O is really loud.

Other thoughts, Simms just made a comment how the Colts got a DPI call go their way that shouldn't have.

just watching this game makes me hate the colts even more. can't stand them.

Exactly thank you Disco, I'm not even close to a troll or someone trying to start trouble being a audio video expert I can tell a sound system when I hear it.
Some of the crowd noise I heard sounded incredibly fake if you didn't hear it then you shouldn't attack my post.
Listen to the game for 5 minutes while the jags are on offense.
I find it interesting that the sound stays at the same level I wish someone had a noise scale at that game and would be surprised how the sound stays at one constant level and doesn't seem to waver louder or softer.
I want that stadium checked thoroughly once before a game a surprise visit from Goodells goons could develop an interesting revelation.

The Colts DO cheat with fake piped in crowd noise, wasn't there a pro a few weeks ago on all the news stations talking about how they admitted to using fake noise?

It's OK..it's the Colts..Goodell blesses all they do...

there definately is some artificial crowd noise there. the fake raaaaahhhh that sounds constant and fake

My questions remains can't the NFL do something?
This is ridiculous they are making a mockery of homefield advantage.
How many false starts?
How much miscommunication at the line?
How many counts not heard by the line?
How many times has the qb not been able to hear the plays from their sideline with or without the mic?
This is cheating to the tenth power a ridiculous advantage and would love to see the media and nfl darlings exposed.
If Goodell had the rocks to do something.
I'm positive he could gain clearance to have it investigated without alerting the colts.

the colts fumble but the refs overturn it when they see the replay which is wrong. the refs cant do that. it was a fumble. and they end up getting a td. im sure polian had a word during the timeout about the final outcome of the ruling.

Well at least we won't be going back to the RCA dome this season.

The NFL will never look into it though.

This is pathetic...all you hear is raaaaahhhh, no change in tone in the "crowd" voice...absolutely pathetic

Lol even at the immediate start of 2nd half, where there are numerous empty seats, the "crowd" is still "extremely loud"

I wonder if all the boooos are piped in too. I'd love to remix a Colts game with a laugh track. :D

It just boggles the mind how this is not investigated my only thought is the NFL stands to lose alot of money if their defending champion and poster boy is found cheating or gaining a competitive advantage in any shape or form.

actually I'm willing to wager that the NFL did send someone by to check things out after the big hubbub from the "strange audio moment" during the Pats game in Indy, or didn't anyone else notice that the building sounded empty during the Colts KC game (next home game after the Pats). oh I forgot, everone was just stone cold silent during that game because they had so many starters injured and the game wasn't exciting or something

it is dome, the crowd noise will sound different....

Was totally thinking the same thing during the game. It goes very very loud and once the play is made it abrupty goes silent. Very strange!

just think about how it is when YOU attend games and then compare that to the sudden drop in volume at the Dome....nowhere else in the league is there such a clear cut dichotomy....I know when we're screaming at games and the play is over we scream even louder right after the play is done....but in Indy???...just a 200% drop in volume
immediately....the sound is DEFINITELY piped in, the league knows it, Goodell knows it...yet the "Polian rules" remain in effect for every single home game the Colts play...once again today...a STARK contrast between what was called on the Jags and the piddling little nothing calls the zebras made on the Colts.

It's disgusting, reprehensible, anti-sporting and anti-American

ok let me jump in here..before this thread gets more stupid..the colts audence is trained to be quiet when the offense takes the field and be loud as hell when the opposing team's offense is on the field. We are all on the same frequency when it comes to that which gives us a true homefield advantage. The dome also aerodynamically helps us because of the way it is designed and the way sound travels toward the field of play. When the new Lucas stadium is used next season we will lose this advantage. There is nonoise being piped into the stadium..it is just ignorant to keep saying this. I have been to a lot of games here in the dome and to other domes and we just know how to work it here..shhhh..now the secret is out!
