I am watching Patriots game day and Samuel is talking about how he played QB for years. I would love to see on a turn over, the defense quickly set up as an offense and run to the line for a play. Samuel could play QB. The D backs could be receivers. The other team would basically have to call and lose a time out.

That would be awesome. The scary thing is that it could actually work. :D

Hobbs Gay Thomas Seymour Wilfork Warren Wright Vrabel

Seau Samuel Bruschi

That would be the best WTF moment of the game.

Way fun.
I'm no technical genius, but wouldn't the d backs have to report as eligible? And would Samuel be allowed to play QB if he wasn't listed as such on the roster?
Given the versatility of our guys, I think it could work.

ohh man, that would be great...

wut cant u do with that? and if all else fails...give it to vrable, im sure he wouldnt mind catching a pass for more then 3 yds

Pretty unique idea....wish we did it!

if samuel wouldnt be allowed to be qb, we could line troy brown up in the nickel - isnt he still our emergency qb?

Isn't there an official timeout of change of posession ?

When Troy was activated my first thought was, man, I'd love to see him throw the ball again :D

Any player on the active roster can play any position at any time.

The "Emergency QB" is technically a 46th man on the 45-man roster, and the rules are different for that one player.
