Obviously nitpicking here but its a saturday afternoon so ...here goes :)

Do the pats need to involve watson a bit more ? he seems like a forgotten man. i remember during the eagles game in the 2nd half the pats suddenly seem to realize they have him and ran a play or 2 specifically designed for him.Of course he hasnt been needed as much with our WR's playing so well but could we have used him more in the philly game or was he up there blocking for brady a lot ?

Watson has gone unnoticed and when our WRs get slowed down..he has a huge game.
ex. = Cleveland game

hes still scoring a lot of TDs this year but it would be nice to see us utilize him more..i think hes a bigger mismatch than Gaffney if he lines up wide or just have him play TE against an LB

I think if teams are going to double Moss, Watson should be matched up one on one with a LB. Take a look at the Clevland game, Watson made them pay for doubling and triple teaming Moss. With that said, Watson should be involved some more.

So when did we start playing with two footballs.

I dont think Watson is doing anything different. I dont think the play calling includes or exludes him any more or less than last year. (With the exception that he comes off the field a bit more now because we have good WRs and don't need him to act like one) But, our WRs are so much better than the ball is thrown before Brady needs to check down to Watson.

You don't need 2 footballs. Everyone on offense just needs to play up to expectations.

65 offensive plays

25 runs by Maroney for 125 yds and 1 TD, 3 catches for 20 yds
8 touches by Faulk for 40 yds
8 catches by Moss for 150 yds and 2 TDs
7 catches by Welker for 80 yds and 1 TD
5 catches by Stallworth for 80 yds and 1 TD
5 catches by Watson for 50 yds and 1 TD
2 catches by Gaffney/Jackson/Brown for 20 yds
2 touches by Evans for 10 yds

Brady 35-35/425 yds/5 TDs/no sacks
RBs 30 for 150 yds/1 TD

We can only hope they can raise up their level of play before the playoffs.

What about Gost?
I'm not sure 56 points will do it come playoffs.

I couldnt agree more, and the fact that I have him on fantasy team does not affect my opinion on this issue....

what he said :D

he was very involved until he got injured in the dallas game....they'll probably start working him in more but I'm suprised he didn't get more looks in the Eagles game....

Excellent query on K. Brady! Given my poor abilities to understand/figure-out the various schemes on the field, I assumed Ben was busy blocking the blitzing Eagles for most part of the game. Or, he might still be recovering from the Dallas injury.. If that is true, what happened to K. Brady?

---
Given my usual worries about the Pats before any game, even practice  , I am concerned a bit more about this game for two reasons:

(1) The Ravens are going to be as fired up as the Eagles given (a) the high point spread, (b) the way we embarassed/dominated them in the last few times we played them, and (c) not-that-nice quotes/statements by players in the past. So, their defense might be more physical than usual. If this makes our OL also hit back more than normal, it increases the chances of players getting hurt.

Which leads to (2): this is a Monday night game, leaving us with less than the usual time for rest and preparation for the Steelers, who also might be a lot more physical than normal attempting to make a statement that their performance against the Jets and Fins were aberrations. So, if the Ravens game is a highly physical game, I am concerned that our players will be getting into another highly physical game with less # of days to rest/prepare.

Ben & K. Brady (& the entire OL) - I sure hope you guys are ok and don't get injured! Please don't let any defense touch TB!!

Perhaps he is actually forgotten. I think when he left with the injury he just never got back not the mix in the same way.

I hope he gets more opportunities but with Welker and Stallworth working underneath, yipes, where does he fit in? Size is one type of advantage, but Welker brings another type of advantage that they may have fallen in love with. Can't blame them.

Watson doesnt feel forgotten.

All those TD's make him warm and fuzzy.
