Why does everyone say this guy is some "shutdown" corner, and "one of the best"?

Sure-he's very physical, but he's SLOW. He definitely got sent to the woodshed tonight.

Some of it wasn't the Cowboys schooling him either. Really, he played like sh*t during some of those coverages.

Early in the game he got worked over by the officials, but that's another story. He also cought that gift INT that TO choked up for him, so he had an up and down game.

He's the best physical corner in the league. He isn't quite as good now as he has been but he's definitely a top 10 corner in the league. He's a much better matchup against softer wide receivers who he can just bump off endlessly. A guy like Owens is pretty much the worst case scenario, where he has the physicality to compete with Harris and could also just blow by him.

Harris did get shafted on that first call when he clearly ripped the ball away from TO (not his best night despite the numbers with drops, the int in the end zone and the takeaway that wasn't) and the official called it dead for forward progress....

He also scraped the ball earlier in the game,
that one denied by the Zebras

One guy is not going to cover guys like TO and Moss.
GB was missing thier best DB.

That being said,on GB threads
folks do not seem to think too highly of him.
