I am soooooooooooooooooo sick of hearing how much Romo and Favre love to play the game. Tom jackson just said, "I have never seen 2 more happier QB's to play the game." Cause we all know that Brady, Manning, Palmer, Kitna, Jackson, Beck, Lossman.....they just HATE playing QB and wish they were working 9 to 5 in a office.

I just want to punch Romo repeatedly whenever I see him smiling after an interception or running around with that s*** eatin' grin and his hat backwards.

Au contraire!

QBs who hate playing...

1. Eli Manning...Dad made him do it
2. Philip Rivers...realizes that he's no Drew Brees
3. Glenn (sic) Beck...Doomed to be on the Dolphins
4. Most any QB vs BB on his 2007/8 GFY tour

Don't forget Drew Bledsoe.

Well, Losman isn't playing QB anymore, so he might be going pondering why he didn't go into selling cars instead of football.

And Brady has made it clear he would prefer to be a hit man for the mob. He likes to "kill teams" but Pats actually pay better. Plus he picks up hotter chicks this way.

P. Mannings true love is starring in commercials which he does more than play football.

E. Manning is still dreading how he is always being showed up by his older bro.

Tied for the league lead in smiling.

Losman has been the starter the last few weeks for the Bills

The others are pretty funny

i wouldnt consider Brady a happy type of QB in the terms they mean. He means always smiling, having a great time, relaxed. Brady when something goes wrong, he flips out, screams, throws stuff. He gets very angry pretty easily while Favre throws a pick 60 yards downfield and laughs it off

as for Romo happy..hes just gay. Gay = happy

Why should this bother anyone, and why assume this is a knock on anyone else?

I actually do not think he's that far off base. Romo and Favre DO look like they are having a ton of fun. They just go out and fling it around the yard. Manning and Brady are two pretty serious guys who look and act like they are on a mission, which is fine as well. Nothing wrong with it.

Do you think Brady looks like he's having fun?? Butting heads and screaming at officials?

Manning will give an occasional smile, but he's probably worried about showing too much emotion, for fear of being vilified by his detractors.

Brady is a seriously competitive man, I can relate to this... because I'm the same way. Perfection is the MO... nothing else will satisfy.

If you cannot grasp that concept, then GFY... I guess only seriously competitive people understand that.

Belichick certainly does...

I don't know for sure, but it looks like he's having a good time here...

Eh, I'll give him a pass--he started off with a legitimate question; the "abuse" started with the other posters.

Romo was smiling throughout his 5-pick meltdown, he just has different "smiles" for each mood. What a pansy.

...and he still ended up winning! So that style works for him and maybe helps his teammates feel more comfortable.

Every leader handles stress, adversity differently. Romo and Farve have a more cavalier approach and face it, it works for them. Tom is much more intense and vocal. Yet, he displays a demeanor of being calm and cool when he is in the pocket and making the throw. I choose to call that focus instead of calm. Tom Brady is anything but calm on a football field.

I don't like the yelling at the refs this year. Brady is doing it more than ever and it bothers me. He is going to get flagged at one point, he needs to calm that part of his game down a bit. He has a right to get a word in with the officials as the QB, but he goes at them, he gets in their face and yaps very loudy. That is not leadership he is displaying it is emotion and at times lets his emotion get to him. That being said, if that is his worst problem it's fine with me. But he needs to work on it and channel that fustration and not let his emotions get the best of him as it seems to more than ever this year. Who knows maybe it's part of this "effu NFL" mentality along with BB.

I'd be happy too if I could routinely screw up and be congratulated for it.
