Here’s the latest:Did Not Participate in PracticeRB Kevin Faulk (thigh)Limited Participation in PracticeQB Tom Brady (right shoulder)WR Wes Welker (team decision)S Eugene Wilson (groin)

S Eugene Wilson (groin)
When did this happen?

Wes "Team Decision" Welker is rapidly becoming the Tom "Right Shoulder TFB" Brady of the receiving corps.

No Hobbs or Gay is reassuring.

Well...Adalius Thomas and Vince Wilfork aren't on the list either, but the consensus seems to be that both of them are more hobbled than not by injuries.

Remember when BB would hold 'The Twig' out of practise? Similar normal body sizes & types.

Dungy does it with Sanders, why wear out a undersized(football wise) but important player.

Practices are non-contact, aren't they? So why hold him out? Doesn't make sense to me.

Everyone is a little dinged hobbled at this point in the season. I'm just happy there are no "official" injuries with those two.

They should just have a seperate category on the injury list. Call it "Made of glass" and put all of our fav players their: Maroney, Welker, Brady with his glass shoulder and Wilson.

I dont think that is fair. You are overstating the phrase. Many moons ago I said Maroney was made out of glass. Honestly I think he has injury issues. The original thread was not meant to "diss" Maroney, or to be negative. I based that thread on the fact the Maroney has missed a good amount of time due to injury. He has also had major surgery already , and come out of a lot of games dinged up after doing very little.

Thats said Welker and Brady have been durable and played in every game this year.

Not sure why you have to twist the argument to make it seem like those who think Maroney is a glass man are saying everyone is.

The facts are that many posters just cannot accept any negative talk of a pats player. I mean honestly , acting like Maroney does not have the right to be called out , or at least some of his issues talked about is totally redic.

Maroney has talent. Maroney can be great. Maroney also has injury issues , and has done much less then anyone on this board expected he would when he was drafted.

It's a lame attempt at "reductio ad absurdum".

I'm worried about Faulk.

But then again, I'm a worrier.

Faulk isn't exactly Mr. Durability himself. That's at least as a big a reason that he'd never make it as true feature back as are ball security and any other problem in skill or technique.

When did this happen?

He's been pulling his groin off and on since 2003.

You know, like the Chad Jackson "maturation" thread.:bricks:
