As has been posted many times.............. WE CANNOT til the end of the season. You can only restructure your deal 1 time in a year. Randy already restructuresd to come here. He can't do anything until til after the season.

well i can goo, when my wife lets me!:rocker: :rocker: :rocker:

Does your wife let you goo when you watch Randy Moss? :scared:

[I'm sorry, but you opened the door real wide with that comment! :D ]

AFAIK, that's not quite correct. A team can't submit more than one contract renegotiation per year, but that doesn't mean they can't discuss renegotiations.

Also, remember that there is that little thing called the franchise tag, if they can't work anything out between now and February. :D

You just don't want to change you board name :)

To be a little more specific, a new contract could be renegotiated as long as there is no change in the current CAP hit. At least that's what I took away from following these discussions over the past few years.

In other words, an extension is always doable.

As far as the franchise tag goes, the Patriots would be stupid to do that. Legal? yes. Totally unfair? Also yes. I don't believe for a second that the Patriots would take that route with Moss.

Who says they didn't already work out an extention?
One of the things that makes the Pats the best at what they do is they usually don't wait until the last minute to tie up loose ends. This deal could have been done weeks ago
