Please go down that list you just gave and prove some of the doubters and "fair weather fans" wrong. Tell them why the opposite of those statements are true.

cheaters...

asterik...

hurt brady...

it's all just jealousy from fans of other teams and media creating stories

comes with the territory of being better than everyone !

Re: Im sick of: BLUEPRINT, CLASSLESS, FAIRWEATHER FAN, RUNNING UP THE SCORE

I sick of people who think the Pats need to be perfect to win it all!
I am sick of people who have ZERO access to a gameplan *****ing about a perceived weakness in same!
I am sick of people who think it is their birthright to have their team win it all every year, things aren't that simple!

Seymour: has been playing hurt for over a year. You try being a playmaker on the defensive line hurt. didn't think so. He'll be back as a force someday soon, perhaps we will have to wait til next season for him to get to 100%.

Merriweather: give the guy some time. He's a rookie who has had little playing time for gods sake.

Dave Thomas: give the guy some time. He's been hurt and is new. See: Watson.

Adalius Thomas: has been forced to play a position where he's not able to be a playmaker. Don't fault Adalius for how the defense is using him.

Maroney: for god's sake, he had a couple of unlucky injuries and the Pats are resting him up for December's cold & snow where the running game is critical.

"faior weather fans" do exist, but it seems that anyone who isn't unrealistically optimistic on this board is branded a "fairweather fan". You can be a 100% fan and have doubts about your team. That said, the players above are being unfairly torn down in most cases for circumstances outside their control.

Name me one team that is resting their "featured" RB so he'll be fresh for December's cold & snow?

Isn't Maroney's quick-cut style of running mitigated by a snow-covered field?

<< Name me one team that is resting their "featured" RB so he'll be fresh for December's cold & snow? >>

Maroney's situation is very different for many reasons:

1. The Pats will deal with more inclement weather than many other teams.
2. Maroney is still hurt. Resting him makes sense.
3. The Pats passing game has been fantastic. You can sacrifice the running game and still put up good points.
4. Pats are very thin at RB. No use risking one of your only remaining RBs if the passing game can take the pressure.

Maroney isn't their "featured" RB. He is effectively their ONLY RB right now.

BB doesn't do things like 'other teams', just so you'll know :)

Humble.

How many times can a guy repeat that he's humble before you begin to sniff something wrong in that act?

Re: Im sick of: BLUEPRINT, CLASSLESS, ASTERISK, RUNNING UP THE SCORE

If it's attention for the Patriots that we always wanted, well by golly, we got it.

From last year.... BODY LANGUAGE

Just general stuff that drives me nuts...
I hate the terms PURE (Passer, Runner, etc.).

SHUTDOWN CORNER is another one I can't stand.

RESPECT.... Overused every year in the NFL (especially by New England)

From Baseball....
He's got good STUFF.

Re: Im sick of: BLUEPRINT, CLASSLESS, ASTERISK, RUNNING UP THE SCORE

I don't get the problem with "blueprint."

I think it's a good, descriptive term that doesn't get overused.

What I really don't understand is why the board went balistic when ESPN took the blueprint angle after the Eagles game. It's a totally legitimate angle, and we did look beatable.

More important, it's a huge compliment. They don't talk about "blueprints" for beating anyone other than the best. People are really fussy here sometimes. Why is it so threatening to think we might be beatable.

Newsflash: We might be.

I think he's just tied of hearing the media ride us.

get used to it.

people take shots at the top dog.

Kill Easterbrook!!!

Re: Im sick of: BLUEPRINT, CLASSLESS, ASTERISK, RUNNING UP THE SCORE

hoodie and handshake.

Re: Im sick of: BLUEPRINT, CLASSLESS, ASTERISK, RUNNING UP THE SCORE

In 5-10 years, when you're 4-12 or 5-11, and playing every single game at 1:00 on Sunday, and the most you can see on the Patriots is a blurb at the end of ESPN's NFL show saying "Patriots futile search to replace Brady continues..."

...you'll miss the constant talk about asterix, blueprint, spygate, running up the score, etc....

No, BLUEPRINT is ******ed. HOW CAN YOU HAVE A BLUEPRINT TO BEAT A TEAM THAT HAS NOT LOST?

Just because the Eagles played well doesn't mean there's some "formula" that everyone else can just follow and win.

First off, the godamn Eagles lost.

Second, any weaknesses found by other teams are either (a) intentional and are meant to be given up, or (b) will be fixed by the coaching staff.

It's absolutely ludicrous to claim that there's a "blueprint" to beat a team that is 11-0. It's ******ed. Come back to me if the Pats lose 3 games with a particular weakness and then we can discuss "blueprints".

The Colts & Eagles are the only teams to really give the Pats any kind of challenge. That's all they're talking about. I haven't really seen it presented as "how to beat the Patriots." It's been much more how you can approach the gameplan to be comptetitive, and at least have a chance.

And there were things that both teams did that other teams should probably try to emulate if they want to have a chance. Most teams don't have the necessary personnel, but some of the strategies are obvious, and sound.

Name me one other team that has such an explosive passing offense that they CAN rest their "featured" RB so he'll be fresh for December's cold & snow!
