I ask because Mark Schlereth is really high on him, and most of the accounts I've seen from people on here and in other outlets have been very critical.

Anyone seen enough on him to give a good analysis?

P.S. My doubt in Schlereth is of course also linked to him being a Bronco alum.

I've not seen him enough to give a scout type analysis, but he and Rivers, imo, are having serious sophomore slumps.

i think he sucks.

I think he sucks bigtime.

Actually Schlereth said that he "is doing okay". and that he has one of the best arms in league. Which is not debatable. I think Cutler is smarter than Rivers. (EDIT: cut gratuitous flame to keep thread on topic)

He has a tremendous arm, is very mobile and throws better then just about anyone when he is forced to leave the pocket. His accuracy needs to improve and his ability to deliever the football consistently could improve as well. But his ability to throw from various platforms is incredible and I think he'll be a star.

I think Cutler has big talent and its just a matter of time before he is a top 5 QB in the NFL. He was easily the best QB in his draft class, and Denver pulled off the steal of the draft snagging him when they were drafting from the 30th spot I believe.

Million-dollar arm, ten-cent head.

I could be wrong.

ohh Jay Cuter... you mean Kyle Boller 2.0?

same damn thing.

have you paid that charity yet ?

Actuallu, yeah, as soon as Miguel replies to my e-mail I will.

And again, obviously you don't know what's going on, try to stay on topic.

Nice to see you three are on record for hating on Cutler. This thread is going to comeback and bite you! :bricks:

Maybe in a couple of years, but I don't even think the Broncos are going to make the playoffs. Today's loss was huge for them. They are currently tied for 8th in the conference with the Bills and Texans, and I really think it will be tough for them to get even the No. 6 seed, which would mean you'd play either the Steelers or Colts on the road.

Cutler has officially played 16 games. His numbers:

89.3 QB Rating
275 completions
437 attempts
62.9 completion percentage
3385 yards
7.7 Yds/Attempt
22 TD
15 INT

That's pretty average. So is the Broncos W-L record over those 16 games.

Okay. The first thing I want to point out, and I know that alot of people probably agree, but just dont want to be rude and I hate to be the one that says it but somebody has to do it. Jay Cutler is..................FUGLY:) having said that though, I think he has plenty of talent, and he is alot faster than I thought(I found that out by one of his runs during the Steelers game.) He also has a very good arm, but one thing I know is that a big arm isn't everything. I don't know how some of you guys can actually decide a players intelligence unless it is just batantly bad, but I don get the feeling that he has the best instincts. Thats what seperates him from guys like Brett Favre and Romo, they have the killer instinct that allows them to play with that gunslinger mentality. I cant say I believe that cutler has those instincts.

Cutler throws for 244 yards and 4 TD in a 41-7 rout of the Chiefs.

Cutler now has a 90.3 quarterback rating and 64.1 completion percentage in 13 games this season. Not bad for a sophomore. :rocker:

And Denver, Cutler and wooden teeth miss out on the playoffs; great.
