Look at Mr. Pioli's superb drafts the last 2 years..........NOT!!! This guy is in a MAJOR SLUMP with our draft picks, my friends. It is Bobby Grier-esque!! We better keep trading draft picks away for the Randy Moss's and Wes Welker's of the world, because we will most likely draft STIFFS if we keep the picks!! You can make excuses all you want folks, but these last two drafts are HORRIBLE. Good thing we lost a #1 pick for spygate. Otherwise, we would just draft another guy that will make NO CONTRIBUTION whatsoever for the first 2 years of their career like Chad Jackson. Ugh!!

Gostkowski is solid.

3 22 (86) David Thomas, TE, Texas(STIFF)

Can't agree with you here at all. Thomas looks like a special player. Unfortunately he had a setback this year, but so did Watson his first year on the job. Your reactionary bullcrap (oh no this 7th round pick didn't pan out, and this 3rd rounder is on the team but hasn't broken any of Jerry Rice's receiving records yet!) is a little out of control.

Gostkowski is solid.

And that's about it. No steals. No IMPACT PLAYERS. No nothing. The 1st rd picks have been ordinary and the rest have been garbage, outside of Gostowski. Terrible drafts. Bobby Grier-esque.

National sports advisers, I'm starting to think you wear that same tinfoil hat while your writing these posts that mangini has in the bang cartoons.

Hey dum-dum: I have left a message for you on the other thread where you posted the exact same idiocy. Go look at it.

This is an unbelievably stupid thread. If you have to have it explained to you why it's stupid, you aren't worth the oxygen.

Compating to Bobby Grier?? I think the poster is in a slump..NOT even close..this year's draft was not the best..maybe slim pickings considering how loaded this team was...BUT last year?? Look again how many are with the team...wait a few years..and then make your peanut gallery comments.

Please make it stop.

You're calling guys stiffs and JAGs when they're in positions that take time to learn and haven't cracked the lineup yet, or have been hurt.

I didn't like it when Bruinz was calling you an idiot in that other thread, but man... Looks like there was a reason...

Drafts rate a C. Thomas, however, is a keeper.

The truth hurts. We are getting NOTHING out of either of these two drafts outside of a kicker and an AVERAGE running back. That is it. If that's ok with you guys, than MEDIOCRITY says hello in 2 years.

DRAFTS ARE HIT OR MISS, THE TEAM IS 11 AND 0 STOP YOUR COMPLAINING AND GO POUR YOURSELF A DRINK

Hey, people can call me whatever they want. The same people waiting for these guys to emerge are the same crew that kept waiting for Bethel Johnson to emerge. These drafts are garbage.

Clearly Scott Piolidoesn't know what he's doing. I mean, it has nothing to do with rookies learning the system and already having established veterans in front of them.

My troll senses are tingling. Your words just don't sound genuine.

I can't believe no one has brought this up:
2nd round: Wes Welker
4th round: Randy Moss

Yeah....terrible draft.

well you can't really argue that BB and SP dropped the ball when they took Maroney over Addai and when they traded up for Chad Jackson

I'm not going to even bother arguing with you, because something tells me you're not being serious.

And if you are, do you not realize that most of the Pats' draft picks in the past two seasons have occurred in the 5th-7th rounds? If those guys make the roster over the talent that's currently on it, there's a serious problem.
