What's wrong with Welker?

I can't believe some of your perceptions. (Not just you, all of you.) Product of the system ring a bell to you? Wes wouldn't have half those numbers any where else. And for the last time, since you guys are all impervious to knowing anything besides the Patriots, we didn't "get rid of him" we traded him and drafted a player having a much bigger impact then lil Wessy would.

I nominate this for dumb-ass post of 2007. Please describe the "much bigger impact" this guy is having, in light of the Dolphins' achievements this year.

You know, I don't really care.

Unlike the *lphins the Pats don't select their players based on if the coach is friends with their dad.

Is poor interviewing skills why the *lphins didn't keep him?

Here is what I look for in WR: can he catch the ball and then run with the ball after he catches it. Welker does that pretty good.

*lphins because their "D" and their "O" is missing.

Sorry, but this is one goddam good football player and I don't care what team he is on. One other Patriot that comes to mind as being best described as that (a goddam good football player, period, not just a WR or a pass catcher) was/is Troy Brown. Who is the guy you drafted with the pick you got in trade for Welker?

The fact that Welker was able to catch 67 balls on a crap team like the fins proves that he is a great WR. End of story.

Compelling argument.

What does that say about Chambers when he caught 82 for 1118 yards and 11 TDs in 2005? Challenging Jerry Rice for the best ever perhaps?

The Dolphins are the only team in the AFC that averages 5 yard per carry amongst their entire running game.

Prettty dumb, huh?

I love it. Trash talk about the superiority of an 0-10 team. Is the champaign stale yet?

Are you serious? The moron I was adressing said Satele has had no impact so I was showing him how uniformed and stupid he is. Read the thread before you reply.

I fixed your post for you.

And, there are only two (2) "t's" in pretty.

The day I get a decent rebuttle out of a Pats fan will be the day.

Maybe he was trying to add emphasis. :p It's like triple ought to be spelled trippple.

Fans of an 11 - 0 team arguing with a fan of an 0 - 10 team...is this a great country, or what? :)

Yes, Satele has helped the Dolphins immensely this season. Where would they be without him?

In the meantime, without Welker last night the Pats would be 10-1.

See this is exactly what I'm talking about. You guys don't think you need to present anything of intelligence what-so-ever just because you're team is 11-0. All that winning has made you as smart as a brick.

It is like who gives a s**t, like I do not see a problem with his speech pattern, like my teenagers like have perfect diction like all the beauty Queens who like want to "promote World Peace" like that is not a noble cause. We like need to pronounce our displeasure with a highly motivated, highly like talented, like highly like able Dude who ROCKS when it comes to catching and gaining extra like yards afterwards?

Like, you should take an English class so, like you can learn like how we like speak the language like you LOSER. Have a nice like day DUDE

Oh I'm sorry, was Satele lining up at defensive tackle? Yeah he's getting dominated on D, that's probably why we allow so many rushing yards, because of Satele.

So I guess Jabbar Gaffney is a great WR too, huh? Have you ever heard of super stars making other player better?

Where to begin? This is the funniest post today.

"Wes wouldn't have half those numbers any where else."

Well, unless he catches 134 passes this year, you will be wrong. Plain and simple.

As mentioned by practically everyone across the country this morning, without Welker the Pats lose last night. Without Satele the Dolphins...........?

You want to continue your Cabaret?

I don't see the argument about Satele not playing defense. The Patriots also don't win that game without Randy Moss, Jabbar Gaffney, Tom Brady... should I continue?

Gaffney is on pace to catch 30 balls for 333 yards. Welker is on pace for 118 catches and 1277 yards. That's quite the difference, and only one looks "great" to me...how about you?

Superstars make others players better, definitely. That said, a guy like Welker doesn't just turn into a 118 catch, 1277 yard, 10 TD player without being damn good and doing a great job of getting open.

Yeah but Gaffney had 87 yards and a HUGE TD catch last night, that was my point.

Please. Welker is on pace for over 100 catches, 1,000 yards and 10 TD's. That's an historic season. We have him wrapped up for 5 years at a cap friendly (certainly for those numbers) figure. The whole nation is mouth agape at the historic steal BB/Pioli pulled on the Dolphins to get him.

You're only embarrassing yourself.
