While BB's success formula is to "live in the now", his team is closing in on the all time NFL record for consecutive regular season wins. Last night's victory was the 14th in a row. The 2004/2005 Pats hold the current record of 18 consecutive regular season wins.
So if the streak continues, a victory at the Giants not only gives the Pats an undefeated season but also breaks the record for consecutive wins with 19. That victory would also break the current NFL record for wins in one season of 15 held by the Steelers, Vikings, 49ers and Bears
Yes, the focus should be on the Ravens. But this team is flirting with NFL history on a number of levels . . . one game at a time.
