Ok, I am seriously lost.

Now everyone is saying MARONEY SUCKS!!!

We right have have the 4th pick, a good shot at McFadden. If he is on the board at whatever spot we have, why don't we take him?

Talk about contradictions. If Maroney sucks, why not get a potential great RB?

I know your thread is tongue in cheek (I think at least), but in any Maroney related thread, it's worth pointing out that the one drive he was featured prominently in, he ran the ball well.

In fact, Maroney has been pretty effective all year when given the chances. Short of running out onto the field mid-play and stripping the ball from Tom Brady and running away with it, I'm not sure what more he could do. This is a pass-first team.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I'd rather use that money to resign Randy, hope everyone else would, too.

because he's a pat and part of the greatest team ever. he just needs more time to develop. he is a star, a force, a workhorse, a punisher, etc etc. he has a high YPC which proves this beyond any shadow of doubt. and i am a fool and traitor for questioning him beginning towards the end of last season.
:wha:

Waiting for Maroney to somehow transform himself from a JAG to a legitemate NFL star running back is like when you were in high school waiting for the girl with a hot body and a million zits to transform into a goddess. You are better off cutting your losses and moving on. :D

Ya, he's all that and a bag of chips...................on my Madden 08!!

Maroney is really talented, and I really don't know why he's in the dog house. Maybe he really isn't healthy? He's too talented for there to not be something wrong. If he's healthy, he should be getting 15-25 touches a game. He's clearly not even coming close.

1st off, not everyone is saying Maroney sucks. Only the nitwits who don't have a clue. Guys like NSA.

2ndly, I don't see the need to get McFadden. Trade down and have 2 very good players. You help your team more that way.

Everyone trying to second guess Bill always figures that if someone doesn't play that either their in the doghouse, their injured, they suck, etc... Some of you posters are as bad as the media. If you don't hear something from the team on a certain subject, you make up your own answers. Let Bill coach the team. he has a good history of showing he knows what he is doing in most situations. Just because you don't know what his reasoning is, doesn't make him wrong.

Belichick gushed about Maroney... again. He loves his work ethic. Funny how BB is so poor at judging football players, while our board has figured LoMo out.

Im personally not ready to put him in the Chad Jackson/Brandon Merriweather bust class yet.

Maroney isn't very good.

Good RBs don't require a first round pick.

Dime a dozen.

BINGO. We got BINGO!!!!!!!!! Exactly. Did we really have to use a 1st Rd pick to get THIS????????????????????? BINGO!!!!! That hits the nail right on the head. Thank you. My thoughts exactly. A 1st Rd pick for THIS running back? A complete waste.

He stole your girl, didn't he?

No, he took the spot of a potentially GREAT Patriot. We can find the Maroney's of the world in the 3rd and 4th rounds.

you can also find Tom Bradys in the 6th round, but that doesnt mean you always wait until the 6th to draft a QB

Your fixation with Maroney is worse than mine with Dan Brown's $hitty writing.

I feel better.

Hindsight is 20/20 and there is no way he would have fallen that far. He is a fine back and will be great for us down the stretch. Mark my words. You will eat yours. We have been cautious with him as he's coming off injuries. He will be leaned on heavily in coming weeks and Im VERY confident in his ability to deliver.

He can really pound the rock. All this negativity toward him makes no sense.
