Running Game

I haven't really said much about running the ball. It wasn't a concern until TONIGHT, IMHO. We need to do a better job of running the ball. I didn't think that Maroney was "made of glass" like most in this forum. But I did begin to question his toughness a little bit. It almost seems like the coaching staff is Stubborn about not running the ball at all. At this point of the season, it is VITAL to have at least a decent running game, IMO. Maroney only rushed for 30 yards, but he did make a difference in the game. It gave Philly something else to think about.

It's just baffling to me. Why spend a 1st round pick on a running back if you are not going to use him?

to answer your questions, i dont think Patriots knew they were ever gonna run a spread O like this

i think we should just go back to last years blocking scheme because we cant handle the ZBS. Our OL gets penetrated rather quickly and you question..missed assignement or is it a scheme that doesnt fit what we have? I think ZBS doesnt help the passing so your forced into 2 different things and maybe our OL has too much to know and maybe some confusion.I certainly dont feel its any RBs fault..because its not like theres a hole adn hes not hitting it..its that theres nothing there and theres a guy in our backfield way too many times
