I just noticed the Pats have only 2 road games out of the next 6 games and those 2 road games are Baltimore and NY. Just a short plane hop away and then they should have HFA in the playoffs.

No long back to back road trips to the west coast or anything like that. Very nice going down the stretch.

They make up for it next year with 4 trips to the other coast as they play both the AFC and NFC west teams , as is the four year rotation (eight if you consider playing the team in the same location).

Actually, this will not happen again for 24 years. This is because there's a 3-division rotation vs the AFC, but a 4-division rotation vs the NFC.

So then, wouldn't it happen again in 12 years, not 24?

I meant about playing all 4 west coast teams on the road. We would be playing the same teams, but because in 12 years we would be in the 4th round of AFC divisions, but only the 3rd round of the NFC, the home/away teams would be reversed for the NFC games but the same for the AFC. We will not play all 4 west coast teams on the road again until 2032.

Of course, by then, they would probably be changes to that set schedule due to expansion or whatever other reasons. That's a quarter century we're talking about.

Duh,, me....You're right. I was thinking of NFC and neglected the AFc
Road trips by year to the Mountain and western time zones...
