I saw a similar post yesterday and thought it would be a funny thread.
It would be epic if they did it to the Jets. Apologies to the original poster I couldn't find the post to give credit.

Well, that's the response for all the whiny baby fans and mediots after all our games so far-- "Run up the score? Hell, we took it easy on them by not going for the conversion."

As I've said before, if they try that, it might not be an opposing team going after Belichick, it might be Gostkowski. ;)

This is a great idea. We could just alternate between throwing the two points to Vrabel and Moss...

And, of course the Patriots would probably convert 90% of them or so. Would this be like spraying a mixture of habanero sauce and mace in the eyes of the opposing coach though?

I'd hate to see that against any team except the Jet's.

I'm sure Mangina will probably play a 3 man front with 8 defensive backs just to hold the Pat's from scoring 80 on them.

Well there are only 2 'normal' situations where you'd go for 2, when you need 2 points to tie, and when getting 2 would put you ahead by a full 3 or 7 points instead. The 3rd situation I can think of is if the Pats need 2 to break a scoring record, or reach triple digits on the Jets. :)

yup, me too...

but then again, i dont even think the rest of the league would like bother us if we did that against the Jets, LOL, i think most would actually understand...

hell, i hope we dont do it agianst any other team, but against the Jets? why not???
