I assume that most Pats fans are also Red Sox fans. Is this true?

Here come the Connecticut bandwagoners to try and tell us that we can't talk about the Red Sox and our other great hometown teams. I'm so proud to be from the Boston area and anyone who isn't has no right to knock the core of this fan base.

I honestly don't think he's trolling. But if I'm wrong I'll eat my crow
I am not sure why he slammed me. I have lived in Boston all my life. I thought the poll was pretty harmless.

There's some kind of weird hatred towards the Sox on this site. I think it comes from the Connecticut yuppies that chose the Yankees as their team in the late 90's when they were great but didn't have a football team to supprot until the Pats started tearing it up. There's also some who like only the NFL and get mad that the Sox have dominated Boston sports despite not having quite as much success as the Pats in recent years, but fail to recognize the more storied history of the Sox and their role in building the Boston sports psyche. What I don't understand is why everyone can't realize that we have room for all of our great teams and that the unbelievable success of all our teams as of late is something to celebrate. I love Boston and we shouldn't have to pick one team and compete against the others for sports monopoly. But I guess it's a pretty nice problem to have....:D

The guy who slammed me also appeared to be a Sox fan. Go wonder.
