interesting comment

"I think everybody's beatable," the Eagles cornerback said. "This is what's funny to me, and this is why I wouldn't gamble. Say Tom Brady takes a blow to the head in the first quarter and gets a concussion. Are they beatable? Say Randy Moss runs a go route and pulls a hamstring. Are they beatable? It always takes a total team effort. Everybody seems to forget that. The game we play, it's such a violent sport, you never know when a guy is going to go down."

...including an underweight corner back mauled by Mankins on a running play.

Maybe someone like Sheldon Brown should watch it...you know THINGS DO happen to cornerbacks with big mouths...

Sheldon Brown's comments are inexcusable and should be fined. I can't believe the Eagles would let a player make a public statement expressing intent to strain another player's hamstring.

Makes you wonder if all the hamstring strains that have happened recently in the NFL were done on purpose.

it really doesnt have to mean hes hinting at something. hes right..sometimes your injuries away from losing.

btw how do u cause a hammy strain on purpose? thats from running..defense cant do that lol

Right. If this guy was really alluring to headhunting, he wouldn't have sited a possible hammy pull. He was just making a point, is all.

It doesn't sound like a threat, it sounds like a correct observation.

Given the way the media has completely misrepresented the statements made by Randall Gay and Tom Brady, I think it would be wise if every fan took "quotes" with a little grain of salt.

I don't think there's anything outrageous in his comments anyway.

Exactly. Given how absurdly different Brady's statement about "killing teams" is when taken out of context I will no longer accept snippets like this to mean anything. For all we know he could have been saying that the Pats are the best team because of an entire team effort and not just because of a few stars. Who knows. Point is I'm not going to play into the media's hands anymore by getting riled up about their misleading and dishonest ratings agenda.
