If you had to the choice to resign Moss, what would you pay? Yrs...guarantees and total.

I say 6 years/13 million guaranteed/42 million.

I wouldn't give him anything but a one year. He is behaving because he only has one year left.

If he walks that is fine let someone else sign him to 5 years and then he can go back to being a distraction, instead of an asset for that team.

3yrs 25.5 Plus incentives and a nice signing bonus.

What are you talking about, Moss is performance has NEVER been tied to his contract status. You're acting like he's a guy who has had 2-3 great seasons correlating with him becoming a FA. The guy has been arguably the best WR in the NFL minus 2 years in Oakland, you let him walk and go to Indy and thats a HUGE swing. This isn't Deon Branch or any of the other replaceable parts that have left NE over the past several years. Luckily, unlike you, Belichick and the Pats FO realize this and won't let him walk or lowball him.

he prob has 3-4 good years left

10 years 275 mil with ownership clauses, what this isn't baseball?

6M per? Deion Branch gets more than that.

I think TO gets 8M per year or something, including SB and incentives.

That's would be a good starting point. Maybe 4 years, 15M SB, 40M total with incentives of 8M (included in the 40M).

He's not looking to break the bank, IMO, but he would want to be paid pretty well.

25m for 4 years and a respectable signing bonus.... i want moss to retire as a patriot...

i dont know, but it should be either 3 or 4 yrs, not any less, not any more

I'd give him $50M/6yrs as follows:

$11M signing bonus

$11M option bonus due in March of year 2

Salaries of:

$1M
$1M
$3M
$5M
$8M
$10M

At this point, Randy can name his price, he means that much. I have a feeling it will get done, he's found a home and we want him to stay home, both sides will get this done. The problem is that because of this, we'll end up losing Donte, but the good thing is that hopefully Chad Jackson still on his rookie contract will fill in quite nicely for Donte.

I think that's about what David Givens got.

That would make him about the 20th highest paid WR in the game, I'd guess.

David Givens should pay Tom Brady half of that 8million dollar signing bonus, Tom Greatness made him a very rich man who has yet to see the field in 2 years for the Titans, man what were they thinking.

FWIW- Givens got a 5 year deal worth $24 million that had a $6 million signing bonus in 2006 and a $2 million bonus in 2007.

I'd offer Moss 8 years 30M with around 10M in guaranteed money.

he is obviously going to get paid..the pats love him, and they know that if they dont sign him, and he goes to the colts, steelers, or some afc rival..it will be a big mistake. And Moss was on a team with the Worst O-Line in football, worse QB (rating wise), worst defensive, offensive, special teams..what the fack did you want? somebody of his talent level to be happy? heh, think about it.
