The word "rest" will have a different meaning for this team. They'll sit guys here and there, but nobody's going to get the game off.

I can't see letting guys go stale. It seemed to backfire on the Colts two years ago. I don't call that "proof" that it will always backfire, but then again came the Colorado Rockies. Maybe they were just outgunned.

I do like the idea of giving guys like Eckyl and Chad Jackson long looks though. Why not? Hell, they can score too. If they can't, let's find out now.

He also said that if he were the coach he would play for overtime against the Rams
 
60 minutes...that's been a theme this entire season for the Patriots and I don't see that changing down the stretch. Add in the fact that Brady and Co. have played in exactly one close game this season, and I couldn't imagine that Belichick would want to see the backups in before the beginning of the fourth in any game this season.

They will play for only the 1st half and score 44. :D
