Don't have a team I root for, I'm just a fan of the game itself and love to analyze everything happening all over the league from week to week.

I do HATE the Eagles so I don't care if it's 4th and inches and the Pats are up 50-0 with 2 mins left, I want them to still go for the TD and destroy the Eagles.

No team? I couldn't imagine not having a certain team to root for. What ever suits you.:)

I just find it to be less stressful that way and I can enjoy the games more. I had my heart crushed too many times in the 90's by the redskins and just decided to be neutral

The Redskins had some great years. I remember very clearly rooting for them to win the SB -- and they won. I am sure it is somewhat frustrating to watch how they are not getting their act together. Regardless, it is still one of the best franchises and I would be happy to be a Skins fan -- but my heart is already taken. And yes, I loved the Pats even during the worst years.

You can still love your team.

It sucks when your team loses, but its a great feeling when they win, I just couldn't even see myself being anywhere near as interested in the game of football if the steelers moved or ceased to exist.

I know how you feel having lived through some to the worst days of Patriot history. Our coaches generally were not that good (Raymond Barry was the exception). But we struck thru the 2 and 12 (14 game) seasons and gave them support. Occasional bright flashes (Snow bowl - Fog Bowl - Al Davis takin' it up the chute) kept us interested. Now, the PAT's Nation who have been around during the bad times and the good are rightly proud that our time has come. Don't think this it will last forever. Look and the Bill and Dolphins and Raiders. (An the Eagles - unfortunately)
