Is anyone else watching Denver come out strong against the Titans?

The big question is, how much longer is Vince Young going to be a starter...

Titans = overrated big time.

Yea, I can't believe anyone gave the Titans a chance. They can't really do anything well.

Last year I thought Young made a liar out of me. Now he flip-flopped. We'll know next year or the year after. Some projects take time.

My original theory was that running QBs have such a poor track record in the NFL that it was a poor choice.

My other pet theory is that we've already seen what the best of them could do - and that would be Randall Cunningham. Even Randall didn't win a SB then I have a hard time believing that somebody like Mike Vick or Vince Young will.

I'm almost sure they will not because knees only last so long in the NFL when you challenge fat guys man up.

I just never understood the attraction of running QBs. You have a position for those guys, they're called running backs. A QB is supposed to THROW the ball, not run it around like an idiot, sliding all over the field.

I don't think Young will work out. That said, I wouldn't judge based on anything we've seen. Fisher will develop him in the same way he developed McNair. The difference is, McNair didn't play his first couple of seasons. I remember because I grew up in Texas and we kept wanting to see him play (as an Oiler.) But they didn't play him, logically because the team was moving anyway. Which is odd because it truly didn't matter at that point how they played.

But I digress. The point is McNair developed slowly. And Young probably will too. It's just odd because we're actually watching it unfold where as with McNair we got a few snaps / game.

Running QB's sell Nikes...that's the attraction

its just hilarious when young makes complete pass they analyze and say "good accurate throw, good mechanics" .:) i mean isnt that what a QB should do ?

with Haynesworth, they have the best defense in football.

trouble is that VY is awwwwwful

Anyone just the slightest bit worried about Denver, when they get Javon Walker and Henry back, in a 1st round game in the snow?

Just a little?

olololololollol at Shanahan for icing the kicker. he just cost his team 3 points. someday coaches will figure out that kickers actually prefer to be "iced"

Anyone see Scaife's catch? BS it was not reviewed. Then, Tirico says they "got word" the replay guys confirmed tit was not a catch. Replay is so bogus. Controlled by the networks and NFL in concert.

Yes.
Just the slightest bit ... just a little.

Because they're the Broncos and he is Shanahan.
That's why i root for San Di in the AFCW.
(And for the Titans to beat them in Week18 ... since we've already clobbered the Bolts.)

If they had Jake Plummer, then I would be a little worried. I think the defense would eat Jay Cutler alive. Belichick owns QB's who've been playing in their first couple of years.

I hate watching Denver win... C'mon Titans !

Yeah he's horrible tonight. Look at these pathetic stats....

15/25, 170 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT's,

9 carries, 63 yards, 1 TD

And another well-placed timeout blows up in Shanahans' face. Is that 10 points so far, due to his team's timeouts? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

well they said fisher was arguing about at the half and how he being a member of the competition committee will take this up further this week.. ...i just laugh when all these members of the competition committee have plays and rules blow up in the own faces
